Oddsmakers have tight totals on the available props for Fields in Week 2 against the Buccaneers, and my numbers are only showing a slight edge for him to throw for Over 167.5 passing yards.

I have the Chicago quarterback projected for 175.6 passing yards and would price the Over at -118. It’s the difference of a positive expected value of 2% on the -114 FanDuel odds.

Fields connected on 24 of 37 passing attempts for 216 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 1, so there’s wiggle room for negative regression in his yardage total to kick in before we’re in true jeopardy of failing to hit this Over.
