The Tennessee Titans travel to play the Miami Dolphins as part of a Week 14 Monday Night Football doubleheader, and we offer our best Titans vs. Dolphins predictions for Monday Night Football based on the best NFL odds at our best sports betting apps.

The Tennessee Titans (4-8) began their season with a challenging stretch, suffering losses in their initial six road games. They followed that streak with their first defeat at Nissan Stadium in 2023, as they fell to a 31-28 overtime loss against division-rival Indianapolis Colts.

It's the first time the team has suffered eight or more losses in consecutive seasons since 2014-15. And oddsmakers are expecting another big loss during Monday Night Football.

Conversely, the Miami Dolphins (9-3) are currently experiencing their best start since 2001. They improved their record to 8-0 against teams under .500 last week, clinching a dominant 45-15 road win against the Washington Commanders. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wideout Tyreek Hill can improve their positions in the NFL MVP odds with solid performances Monday, and the Dolphins are still firmly in the title mix according to the latest Super Bowl odds.

In addition to our Tua Tagovailoa player props and Tyreek Hill player props, here is our best Titans vs. Dolphins prediction for Monday Night Football (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Titans vs. Dolphins prediction: Monday Night Football

Dolphins -13.5 (-110 via FanDuel, DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

The Titans are 0-9 SU in their last nine road games dating back to last season, while the Dolphins are 9-0 ATS in their previous nine games against teams with a losing record. Thus, while Miami is the biggest favorite of any team on the Week 14 slate, we are not scared off by the near two-touchdown point spread.

Miami’s Tyreek Hill has shown no signs of slowing down in a season he appears destined to prevail in the Offensive Player of the Year odds. Hill’s 1,481 receiving yards are the most through the first 12 games of the season in the Super Bowl odds era, and he is the first Dolphin with two touchdown receptions of 60-plus yards in a game since Paul Warfield in 1971.

Hill has done a lot of his damage on vertical routes, as his 938 receiving yards on those routes are 414 more than the next receiver, and per Next Gen Stats, he has +266 receiving yards over expected. Thus, it is a dream matchup for Hill and the rest of the Dolphins wide receivers, as Tennessee entered last week allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to the position before allowing Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew to accrue 312 passing yards and two touchdowns.

Tennessee used the return of defensive tackle Teair Tart to improve from 193 rushing yards allowed to Indianapolis in the first head-to-head meeting to 55 yards on 2.4 yards per carry allowed last week. However, that did not stop the Colts from scoring 31 points.

That seems like the floor for a Dolphins offense that entered last week with a touchdown on more than one-third of their offensive possessions (33.6%), the highest rate in the league. In addition, the Titans lost their best defensive lineman, Jeffery Simmons, for a couple of weeks after he suffered a knee injury last week.

Miami now leads the league with 47 offensive touchdowns, and it could cover the spread in this game with as few as three this week, given that the Titans have averaged 11.7 points per game on the road this season. Meanwhile, Tennessee ranks in the bottom 10 of the league in touchdown rate allowed (24.6%) in road games this season.

This would become a more confident four-star play if running back Derrick Henry were to enter the concussion protocol this week after leaving last week’s game with a head injury.

FanDuel, DraftKings (-110)

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM Caesars bet365
-13.5 -13.5 -14 -14 -14
-110 -110 -110 -110 -110

As Dolphins backers, we are headed to either DraftKings or FanDuel as our preferred shop, as those are the only two of our best sports betting apps offering a spread lower than two touchdowns. There may be just a half-point difference among the best sportsbooks, but it is significant, as BetMGM, Caesars, and bet365 have point spreads that land on a key number of -14. We would pass on any line of -14 or higher.

This is the only spread higher than a field goal in the last five head-to-head meetings between these teams dating back to 2015.

Titans vs. Dolphins odds analysis

Any line movement on the point spread has gone toward Miami, as FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and bet365 all opened at -13 on Sunday night, while DraftKings opened slightly lower at -12.5. Miami is the fourth-most profitable ATS team this season, covering eight of 12 games.

Our best sports betting sites are in unison with a projected total of 47 points, while DraftKings is the only one juiced to the Over (-112). The line has shaded to the Over since Sunday night, with the biggest move from the opening number happening at FanDuel, whose total is up 1.5 points from 45.5 to 47.

Early wagers are 69/31 in support of the Over, despite the Under cashing in seven of Tennessee’s last eight road games.
