The Houston Texans will try to keep their incredible 2023-24 campaign going when they visit the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional Round, and we're providing our top Texans vs. Ravens prediction based on the best NFL odds from our best sports betting apps.

After securing a resounding 45-14 triumph over the Cleveland Browns in Wild Card Weekend, the Houston Texans are now prepared to take on the AFC's top-seeded team in the divisional round.

Just as they were in the wild-card round, the Texans are underdogs against the Baltimore Ravens, though their odds to win are significantly longer this time. After closing around +120 against Cleveland, Houston is as long as +380 to emerge victorious from the divisional round.

Those odds are appropriate, as the Ravens own the shortest Super Bowl odds of any AFC team and led the NFL with a plus-203 point differential this season, featuring both an explosive offense and a stifling defense.

Can the Texans orchestrate another shocking win? Or will rookie C.J. Stroud's impressive debut campaign end with a cold, painful exit in Baltimore? The forecast is now calling for 14-mph winds with 20-mph gusts, and a 20% chance of precipitation.

Our Mike Spector looks at what to expect from the rookie signal-caller in his C.J. Stroud NFL player props, while Sean Tomlinson also breaks down the matchup in his Texans vs. Ravens props.

As part of our NFL Divisional Round predictions and to accompany our Super Bowl predictions and Lamar Jackson NFL player props, here are our best Texans vs. Ravens predictions and our NFL picks (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Texans vs. Ravens prediction

Dalton Schultz Over 3.5 receptions (+102 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We previously offered Devin Singletary Over 52.5 rushing yards on Monday, and his line is now up to 59.5 at our best sports betting apps. Let's see if we can have similar success finding value with our second pick of the week.

Texans tight end Dalton Schultz managed only one reception on Wild Card Weekend, but that was a result of Houston crushing Cleveland so badly that quarterback C.J. Stroud threw only five passes in the second half. The data suggests Schultz will be much more involved - likely out or necessity - in the divisional round.

Across five projection models, Schultz has an average receptions projection of 4.07. When we run that projection against FanDuel's +102 odds on Over 3.5 receptions, we're getting roughly 17% positive expected value on this bet.

FanDuel is also the only one of our best sports betting sites offering plus-money odds on this prop, as most are a couple of points below at +100. Caesars and bet365 are both trading at minus money.

Devin Singletary Over 52.5 rushing yards (-114 via BetRivers) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Texans vs. Ravens odds analysis

Most of our best NFL prop betting sites opened with the Ravens as 9.5-point favorites. However, the spread now ranges from Ravens -8.5 at FanDuel to -9.5 at BetMGM, with a few sitting at -9. For those looking to back the favorites, you can either pay the extra in juice at FanDuel or head to DraftKings for its -108 odds on -9.

The total for this game opened at 46 but has dropped in a hurry. Most of our best live betting sites are at 44.5, with some at 45. Pinnacle is already down to 44.

As John Ewing of BetMGM notes, a significant portion of the early action has been on the underdog Texans.
