Jalen Hurts hasn't played in the preseason since 2022, and the Ravens' head coach Jesse Minter has announced that his key starters won't play, which is why I'm backing the Under in this game. The Eagles will rely on Tanner McKee, who completed just 21 of 40 passes in his only start last season, and Andy Dalton, who threw for just 293 yards in four games with the Panthers last year.
Even though the Ravens have Tyler Huntley, I don't expect him to play much either, as he proved to be a viable backup for Lamar Jackson last season.

The total is low, but I love the Under in this game. Neither offense is expected to put a single key piece on the field. Meanwhile, the Ravens' defense allowed the ninth-most yards per game last season, so there are plenty of roster spots up for grabs, and the Eagles have enough defensive depth to perform well against the Ravens' backups. Therefore, I'm putting 1.5 units on the Under. That said, I'm only risking 0.5 units on the Ravens to cover +3.5. I'm only backing them because they're on the right side of the key number.
