Jets -1.5 (-115)

The Jets are worth backing at -1.5 in their second preseason game against the Steelers, as their depth and roster competition should give them an advantage throughout the matchup. Preseason Week 2 is another important opportunity for New York’s coaching staff to evaluate players fighting for roster spots, creating plenty of motivation on both sides of the ball.

The Jets should be able to generate consistent pressure defensively while finding enough production from their offensive reserves to stay ahead on the scoreboard. With a small number to cover, New York does not need a dominant performance to cash this wager for bettors.

Ravens +3.5 (-110)

The Ravens are worth backing at +3.5 against the Vikings in Preseason Week 2, as the extra points provide valuable protection in what should be a competitive matchup. Baltimore has an opportunity to evaluate its depth across the roster, and strong competition for roster spots can keep the team engaged throughout the game.

The Ravens should be able to lean on their defensive depth to limit Minnesota’s offensive production while their reserves provide enough scoring to stay within striking distance. With more than a field goal in hand, Baltimore has plenty of margin for error, making +3.5 an appealing preseason betting option.

Bears -1.5 (-105)

The Bears are worth backing at -1.5 against the Bengals in Preseason Week 2, as Chicago has the depth to control this matchup from start to finish. With roster battles continuing into the second preseason game, the Bears should have plenty of motivation to execute well on both sides of the ball.

Chicago’s defensive depth can create pressure and force mistakes, while its reserves should provide enough offensive production to build a lead. Laying just 1.5 points gives the Bears a manageable number to cover, making Chicago an appealing side for bettors looking for preseason value.
