Minnesota likely knows it can deal a massive psychological blow to Golden State by running that to 0-7 combined this season with wins both tonight and on Monday. But that motivation is not as driving as the desperation the Valkyries inevitably feel to avoid such a fate.
That desperation should be matched by the crowd at Ballhalla, one of the best homecourt advantages in the WNBA.
Golden State has simply been the better team the last couple months. Add in the homecourt edge and a psychological boost should finally come the Valkyries way.
