My Liberty vs. Dream prediction expects Atlanta's eight-game win streak to be on the line in Game 2 of this semifinal series at 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on ESPN.

The Dream earned a 10-point win in Game 1, but are just 1.5-point favorites tonight with Allisha Gray out. This could be a pivotal game for the current WNBA championship odds leaders.

🏆 Who will win Liberty vs. Dream?

I believe this game is a true toss-up, but this could be New York's best chance to steal one in Atlanta. I project a two-point Liberty win in Wednesday's Game 2. Atlanta has won eight straight games, including all three postseason contests. The Dream haven't lost since Aug. 28. But Allisha Gray's absence could have a major impact.

Score prediction: Liberty 86, Dream 84

💰 Liberty vs. Dream prediction & best bet

Liberty first-half moneyline (+102)

Given the Dream's recent form, I'd rather back the Liberty in the first half than the full game in what could be a coin-flip matchup. Still, both plus-money prices are intriguing given Gray's absence.

Although the Dream pulled away in the third quarter of Game 1 without Gray, they typically haven't played well without their best player. According to Databallr, Atlanta has a -3.6 net rating in 330 minutes without Gray this year, compared to a +11.3 in 1,440 minutes with her on the floor.

The Dream already had a shorter rotation, so I'm skeptical of their ability to navigate Gray's absence across four quarters. The Liberty should even this series, especially if they get off to a strong start.

🔥 Best Liberty vs. Dream player prop bet

Sabrina Ionescu Over 15.5 points (-106)

Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu scored 27 points in Game 1, and might have a better time finding open shots tonight.

According to Databallr, the Dream's defensive rating is eight points worse without Gray this season. They already ranked 15th in defending pick-and-roll ball-handlers, but Gray's absence puts more pressure on Rhyne Howard in this matchup. Howard will also have to be the team's primary shot creator on the other end.

Ionescu has cleared this line in consecutive games and shot 10-for-20 against Atlanta on Sunday.

🚀 Liberty vs. Dream same-game parlay

FanDuel doesn't allow me to parlay first-half markets, so I've stuck with a two-leg SGP for Game 2. I just need Ionescu to deliver in a favorable matchup and lead New York to a pivotal win. This could be a series-deciding matchup, so don't be surprised if the stars stay on the floor for all 40 minutes.

💵 Liberty vs. Dream SGP picks

  • Sabrina Ionescu Over 15.5 points (-106)
  • Liberty ML (+102)

Best odds: +213 via FanDuel (0.1u -> 0.21u)
