The 6-3 Houston Texans host the 7-1 Detroit Lions in a huge Sunday Night Football showdown between Super Bowl odds contenders.

The latest Sunday Night Football odds show the Lions favored by 3.5 points despite the game being played at NRG Stadium (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC).

With the spread in mind, I pick the best Lions vs. Texans SNF prop bets, as the highest-scoring team in the league takes on the second-ranked team in total yards allowed. We also explored this game further with our Lions vs. Texans prediction.

This game will likely come down to quarterback play. Are C.J. Stroud and Jared Goff both in line for huge games on Sunday night? We took a closer look at each of them with our C.J. Stroud SNF player prop bets and our Jared Goff SNF player prop bets.

Be sure to head to our NFL Week 10 predictions for a closer look at all of the action coming before this matchup.

Amon-Ra St. Brown to score a touchdown (+125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

St. Brown has caught a touchdown pass in six consecutive weeks. Even against the Tennessee Titans when he only caught two passes for seven yards, he still managed to find the end zone. This week, he gets a phenomenal matchup, so I’m shocked to see this price longer than +100.

The Texans are allowing 2.1 passing touchdowns per game. That’s tied for the second-worst mark in the league.

When it comes to rushing touchdowns allowed, they’re allowing just 0.6 per game. With that in mind, the Lions will likely need to lean on Goff in the red zone. St. Brown is his favorite target, and in such a great matchup, there’s no reason to expect him to end his six-game scoring streak.

The price for this prop ranges from +105 to +125, with DraftKings offering the worst price. Considering St. Brown’s current streak and the matchup, I expect the FanDuel number to drop to at least +120 before kickoff.

We picked a different Lions player for our first touchdown scorer predictions.

Jared Goff Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-102) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything I said about St. Brown applies here. The Texans have a serious problem keeping opponents out of the end zone through the air. This week, they have to take on the highest-scoring team in the NFL, and the Lions are averaging two passing touchdowns per game.

Goff has thrown at least two touchdown passes in five of his last six games. The only time he failed to hit that mark was last week in horrible weather conditions in Green Bay. He won’t have to worry about that in a dome this week.

The Over is favored at two of the five best sports betting sites, with Caesars listing the price at -133. FanDuel and bet365 are each favoring the Under, which means they’re asking -102 and -105 for the Over, respectively.

Best odds: -102 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 50.49%

C.J. Stroud Over 230.5 passing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There is a chance that Stroud could have both Nico Collins and Tank Dell for Sunday night’s game. If he has both of those players, then he should clear this number easily. But even if he’s missing both of his top targets, this is still a great matchup for him.

The Lions are allowing 250.8 passing yards per game, the fourth-most in the NFL. Additionally, the Lions are allowing only 106.4 rushing yards per game, so there’s a good chance Joe Mixon struggles, making the Texans one-dimensional whether they’re winning or losing.

Stroud has thrown for fewer than 200 yards in three of his last four games. However, he’s still topped this number in five games this season. He’s had bad matchups over the last few weeks but should see major improvements against a defense that allows a lot of yards.

Best odds: -113 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.05%
