The Detroit Lions suffered an upset home loss on Thanksgiving but are in a good position to bounce back when visiting the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, as we check out our Lions-Saints NFL player props for Week 13 based on the best NFL odds.

The 8-3 Detroit Lions are coming off a 29-22 loss against the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day. QB Jared Goff was 29-for-44 for 332 yards and two touchdowns in defeat.

Last Sunday, the New Orleans Saints (5-6) lost 24-15 to the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Derek Carr threw for 304 yards and an interception, and the Saints defense allowed just 168 passing yards and registered two interceptions.

In addition to our NFL Week 13 predictions and NFL Week 13 player props, here are our best Lions vs. Saints NFL player props for Week 13 (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Lions vs. Saints NFL player props: Week 13

Jahmyr Gibbs Over 44.5 rushing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Gibbs may have only led the Lions in carries in one of their last three games since the Week 9 bye, but he has topped this total in four of his five outings after returning from injury in Week 7. The rookie is averaging 62.9 rushing yards per game this season, and he is facing a Saints defense that is allowing 124 yards a game on the ground. Detroit’s run game is top ten in the league, averaging 136.9 yards per game. Gibbs is a receiving option, but New Orleans has given up the fourth-fewest receptions to backs.

Jared Goff Under 260.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Saints rank 23rd in run defense, but their passing defense is seventh in the league in yards allowed per game (206.6). Jared Goff has hit the under on this total five times this season. Four of those five games have been against top ten passing defenses in receiving yards allowed. The Lions have rushed for 1,506 yards through their first 11 games. It is Detroit's most rushing yards through 11 games in a season since 1998 when Barry Sanders rushed for 1491 yards on his own. This means, they’re likely to lean heavily on their ground attack against a defense that struggles to stop the run but is so strong versus the pass.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Under 7.5 receptions (-125 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

St. Brown is averaging 8.2 receptions per game this season and has topped this total in each of his last three games. However, the Saints’ defense ranks second in pass completions allowed (211). Only the Cleveland Browns have allowed fewer in the NFL this year. As mentioned, the Lions’ game plan will be to attack the Saints’ run defense. Detroit’s rushing offense ranks fourth in the league. New Orleans has picked off its opponents 14 times through 11 games, its most through 11 games of a season since 2009 (22). Jared Goff has had eight turnovers in his last five games.
