Who will be the last team to get a win in the NFL this season? Taking a look at the odds at our best NFL betting sites, we make our picks for the last winless team.

The Arizona Cardinals are the favorites in our worst record odds, worst record picks, and to be the lowest-scoring team in the NFL. It should come as no surprise that they're the betting favorites to be the last winless team in 2023 as well.

The Cards went into full tank mode this week when they placed injured franchise quarterback Kyler Murray on the PUP list to begin the season, ensuring he'll miss at least the first four games, and followed that up by releasing veteran backup Colt McCoy.

Rookie head coach Jonathan Gannon has yet to name a starter for Week 1 and he has rookie fifth-rounder Clayton Tune and journeyman Josh Dobbs - who's been in Arizona for a week - to choose from.

Wins will be as sparse as water in the desert.

Here are our best bets on the last winless NFL team, (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Cardinals (+460 via FanDuel)

Week 1: @ Commanders, Week 2: vs. Giants, Week 3: vs. Cowboys, Week 4: @ 49ers, Week 5: vs. Bengals, Week 6: @ Rams, Week 7: @ Seahawks, Week 8: vs. Ravens

Motivation factors heavily into our Cardinals pick. They're in full rebuild mode and are on track to be in position to grab USC star Caleb Williams in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The schedule isn't particularly difficult. Arizona opens on the road against Washington, who will be starting 2022 draft pick Sam Howell at quarterback. But the Commanders are already -310 Week 1 favorites at DraftKings.

With a roster short on talent and battles with the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals, L.A. Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and Baltimore Ravens on deck, it could be a while before Tune or Dobbs leads Arizona to victory.

Raiders (+1800 via FanDuel)

Week 1: @ Broncos, Week 2: @ Bills, Week 3: vs. Steelers, Week 4: @ Chargers, Week 5: vs. Packers, Week: 6 vs. Patriots, Week 7: @ Bears, Week 8: @ Lions

The Las Vegas Raiders own the 10th-most difficult schedule based on 2022 winning percentages (0.524).

Their earliest opportunity for a win comes in Week 1 against the Sean Payton-led Denver Broncos. The Raiders swept the season series with their divisional rival in 2022, but both clubs have undergone significant changes.

Payton takes over from what he called "one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL"  and will have significant pressure to back up his words and bring in immediate results. The Raiders swap in Jimmy Garoppolo for Derek Carr under center and also are coming off an offseason in which they drew the ire of stars Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs.

If Vegas can't cash in against Denver, the team faces a difficult stretch before their next realistically winnable games in Week 6 against the New England Patriots and Week 7 visiting the Chicago Bears.

An 0-6 or 0-7 start could be enough to be the last winless team in the NFL.
