The bellcow running back is battling nagging calf and quad injuries and is still recovering from the 26 carries he saw just four days ago, but the Raiders are in no position to begin limiting the load on their bruiser.
At 5-7, the Raiders have fought their way back into the playoff picture by force feeding Jacobs and Adams. The Rams own the league's fourth-best rush defense, but with three-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald out and unable to clog up the middle, the Raiders can continue rushing Jacobs between the tackles.
