The streaking Las Vegas Raiders, winners of three straight games, visit the injury-riddled Los Angeles Rams for Thursday Night Football to start Week 14. Check out our Raiders-Rams NFL picks.

The Las Vegas Raiders (5-7) suddenly have rejuvenated hopes for one of the AFC’s playoff spots after winning three straight games. Las Vegas was the only AFC West team to win last week and enters this week two games back of the 7-6 New York Jets for the seventh seed in the conference.

The Los Angeles Rams (3-9) seemingly hit a new rock bottom every week. L.A. is in the midst of its longest losing streak (six games) since 2016, and the 3-9 start is the franchise’s worst since 2011.

Here is our best Raiders vs. Rams NFL pick (odds via PointsBet; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Raiders vs. Rams Pick

Over 43.5 ★★★

Both teams have reasons to be optimistic about their offenses entering this week. Las Vegas has averaged 29.7 points per game during its three-game winning streak, led by Josh Jacobs and his 453 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns in the last two games.

On the other side, Los Angeles got two touchdowns from Cam Akers after he scored just one in his first nine games played. Akers spent two games away from the team amid speculation he was unhappy with his role, but he played like a man possessed last week and looked rejuvenated by the fact that the backfield is his after the team waived Darrell Henderson Jr. two weeks ago. The team’s ability to open up running lanes for Akers and Co. (the Rams ran for 5.2 yards per carry) provided relief for a struggling John Wolford, who finished with a 22.4 QBR.

The Rams secondary was just torched by Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf for a combined 255 yards on 17 catches and two touchdowns. Thus, Raiders wideout Davante Adams should wreak havoc after becoming the third player ever with 100-plus receiving yards in each of his first five division games of a season. Adams has amassed a 41-664-7 line in his last five games, and those numbers have come on a whopping 67 targets. Thus, Adams is matchup-proof if quarterback Derek Carr continues to look his way that often.
