Our Jets-Raiders parlay predictions based on the best NFL odds from our best sports betting apps anticipate an ugly prime-time game between two anemic offenses. But can each side find one player to get it going on the ground?

This matchup between the Jets (4-4) and Raiders (4-5) may be one of the NFL’s worst on paper in 2023. 

But we found a couple of rushing props to use while betting the Over and parlaying that with a low-scoring game script to boost our odds for a Sunday Night Football same-game parlay.

SGP predictions for Jets vs. Raiders

Aidan O’Connell Over 2.5 rushing yards (-110 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Let’s start off with a bang, shall we? Aidan O’Connell has played three games in 2023 and has only registered a rushing attempt in one. It came during his first start when he notched three carries for three yards and a touchdown on the ground.

But a prime-time clash between two miserable teams feels like an opportunity for the rookie quarterback to do anything in his power to ensure another victory for the Raiders and interim head coach Antonio Pierce. The Jets rank 30th in the league in run defense. We just need one singular moment in which O’Connell decides to evade the pass rush and stumble forward for nine feet of Paradise, Nevada real estate.

Breece Hall Over 65.5 rushing yards (-140 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

It makes sense for the Jets to prioritize their run game every week due to Zach Wilson's limitations. That mantra will be even more relevant during Week 10, as the team is facing a Raiders defense that ranks 31st in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game.

Las Vegas allows 138.7 rushing yards per contest. Hall has overtaken Dalvin Cook as the primary running back for New York, although he's been more explosive as a receiving threat over his last few games than on the ground. But the matchup alone dictates that Hall’s workload should be enough to push him over this total.

DraftKings seems to be daring us to bet the Under on Hall’s rushing prop, as his 65.5-yard total comes with -140 odds on the Over. But we’re going to buy into the Raiders struggling to stop a top-tier running back again.

Under 35.5 (-110 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Offensively, the Jets have posted the NFL's worst red-zone touchdown rate in 2023 while converting just 23% of their chances into six points. That should take the heat off of a Raiders defense that's the league's sixth-worst red-zone unit.

On the other side, the Jets field one of the league's best red-zone defenses, so even the drives that look promising in this matchup are likely to result in field goals with alarming frequency. Both the Jets and Raiders rank near the bottom of the league in scoring, with both clubs averaging fewer than 17.5 points per game.

Jets games are 3-5 to the Over in 2023, while games involving the Raiders are just 2-7 on Overs. We like the Under for our SGP down to 34 points, so it’s nice to see the number at 35.5 through DraftKings, boosting our parlay to +675 odds.
