It's FanDuel Futures Day, which means there are NFL futures boosts waiting for you throughout the day. Here, I'll get you set with my best NFL futures predictions for win totals and who will make the playoffs before you head on over to the sportsbook and place your wagers ahead of Week 1.
NFL futures predictions 2025: Who will make playoffs? 📈
🐻 Chicago Bears (+184 via FanDuel)

If you're looking for a team to take a massive step and cash your "who will make playoffs" ticket, look no further than the Chicago Bears as we make our NFL futures predictions.
Under new head coach and offensive genius Ben Johnson, this Bears team is expected to take a garguantaun leap forward with second-year quarterback Caleb Williams leading the charge. We all know Williams was sacked the most out of any other passer in the league, hitting the turf 68 times last season. (To put that number into perspective, C.J. Stroud was second on that list with 52 sacks taken.)
With the middle of the offensive line dramatically improved, that shouldn't be the case for the sophomore this year. With the improvements in front of him, the upgrades in the form of Colston Loveland and Luther Burden in the draft, and a defense that ranked 13th in total defense, Chicago can fight for a Wild Card spot in a tough NFC North division.

NFL futures predictions 2025: Best bet for over/under win totals ↕️
Let's dive into our best win total predictions ahead of Week 1 with a confidence rating on a 1-5 scale, all odds courtesy of FanDuel.
🐾 Carolina Panthers: Over 7.5 wins (+135) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
At these odds, I love the Panthers to build off their second half last year. Bryce Young took awhile to get acclimated to the NFL, but once he took back over the QB1 role in the second half of the season, he was ready to roll.
Young finished the year with a 107.5, 100.7, and 123.5 QB rating in the final three weeks of the season, and he should be able to make some strides with an easy schedule this year.
Carolina's upcoming opponents had a combined 132-157 record last year; only five teams on their schedule this season made the playoffs a year ago. If Young continues to develop, and their upgraded defense shows up to play, the Panthers could cash this bet and even sneak into the playoffs in the softest division in football.
🗽 New York Giants: Under 5.5 wins (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
For as high I am on the Panthers taking a step forward, there is zero chance this Giants team finishes with Over 5.5 wins on the season. I'd even play this to Under 4.5 wins at plus-money if you have the cojones to do so.
While they are beginning to address their needs - mainly getting out from under the Daniel Jones bus after drafting promising prospect Jaxson Dart and signing veteran Russell Wilson - their schedule won't allow them to do much damage this season.
New York's upcoming opponents owned a combined 166-123 record last season, and 10 of the teams they play this season earned a berth in the playoffs a year ago. While we might see some improvements this year in New York, the Giants are a far cry from winning six games, let alone making the playoffs. Fade them with confidence as part of our best NFL futures predictions.
