Our Bengals vs. Jaguars parlay predictions based on the best NFL odds don’t view a depleted Cincinnati Bengals team as a capable foe for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jacksonville Jaguars (8-3) have taken command of the AFC South and are now setting their sights on the possibility of the coveted bye in the AFC playoff picture.

A home game against the reeling Cincinnati Bengals (5-6) should be a solid chance to pad the record for Jacksonville under the bright lights of Monday Night Football.

To accompany our Bengals vs. Jaguars prediction and Bengals vs. Jaguars NFL player props, here are our best Bengals vs. Jaguars parlay predictions (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

SGP predictions for Bengals vs. Jaguars

Jaguars -9.5 (-118) ⭐⭐⭐

When Joe Burrow left the game against the Baltimore Ravens with his wrist injury, the Bengals were very evidently not in the same class at Baltimore at that point. The Ravens won the game 34-20. Although the next week against the lesser Pittsburgh Steelers offense was only a one-possession loss, I don’t see any path to Jake Browning keeping the Bengals within single digits of the Jaguars.

The Jaguars have the 10th-highest scoring average in the league this season, averaging 23.1 points per game. Removing the recent embarrassing loss to the San Francisco 49ers from the equation, Jacksonville has three home wins by 16-plus points since the beginning of October. The Jags should match up favorably against a soft Bengals secondary.

DraftKings lists the Jaguars as 10-point favorites. Given the size of the number, we favor any edge we can glean, so our preference is the FanDuel line of Jaguars -9.5, even at lesser -118 odds.

Trevor Lawrence Over 244.5 passing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Trevor Lawrence seems to be hitting his stride for Jacksonville, clearing this passing line in three of his last four games. There should be ample opportunity to accumulate passing yards against a Cincinnati defense that ranks 27th in the NFL while allowing 249.6 passing yards per game.

While Cincinnati is also exploitable on the ground, the Bengals have allowed 250 or more passing yards in six consecutive games. Even in the games Cincinnati has won, the team still has consistently given up gaudy totals through the air, inspiring confidence in this spot for Lawrence.

DraftKings offers a better line on Lawrence passing yards, listing the number at 240.5 yards as opposed to the loftier 244.5-yard total offered by FanDuel. The odds on the FanDuel prop check in at -110 instead of -115, though, as we look to make up ground in the odds value following the first leg of our parlay coming in at -118.

Jake Browning Over 216.5 passing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

While I’m skeptical of Browning’s ability to put the Bengals’ offense in the end zone with frequency, it seems that he should have a chance to pass his way to a decent yardage total in a negative game script.

If the Jaguars, in fact, cover the lofty spread, it wouldn’t make much sense for the Bengals to stay committed to running the ball against one of the league’s top rushing defenses. Jacksonville ranks third in the NFL in yards permitted on the ground, allowing just 87.9 per game.

The Jaguars, meanwhile, rank 28th in passing yards allowed per game. Browning has capable receiving weapons and should be chucking it with frequency in the second half. After throwing for 227 yards in his first start against the Steelers, I like Browning to clear FanDuel’s line of 216.5 yards in this one.
