The Duke Blue Devils look to continue their success in an ACC road game against the Syracuse Orange. Tip-off from JMA Wireless Dome is set for 7 p.m. ET (ESPN2).

The Blue Devils own the nation’s longest winning streak at 15 games are the No. 2-ranked team in the AP poll for the third consecutive week. It is no surprise to see them as 17.5-point favorites.

Perhaps the most impressive part about Duke’s 87-70 win over North Carolina on Saturday was that it led by 22 points at halftime, whereas the Tar Heels’ highest deficit of the season at any point prior to that matchup was 21.

The ACC is shaping up to be a two-team race, with Duke and Clemson being the two teams that are 10-2 or better in league play. The two clash on Saturday night, so it would not be surprising to see the Blue Devils get caught looking ahead.

Syracuse is just 2-3 at home in ACC play this season. However, the Orange allow assists on the second-lowest percentage of field goals made (40.2%) in conference play, and are holding opponents to fewer than 33% shooting from beyond the arc.

Duke has lost at least one game following a game against UNC in each of the last four seasons. And while the Blue Devils may not be on upset alert in this matchup, this is still too many points to lay in a trap spot.

Cooper Flagg Under 7.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cooper Flagg has already reached 250 points, 75 rebounds, and 50 assists in 11 conference games. That marks the fewest games needed to hit all those plateaus by any Division I player in the last 25 seasons, per ESPN Research.

Flagg has secured seven or fewer rebounds in five of the last six games despite having ample opportunity to pad those rebounding stats against smaller teams recently. The average height of three of his last four opponents ranked 319th, 228th, and 223rd nationally.

With Syracuse having more length than the teams Duke has played recently, ranking 89th in average height, we should see Flagg fail to bring down eight or more rebounds once again.
