Golden State has been underrated by the market since the start of its first season as an expansion franchise. Since 2025, the Valkyries are 30-19-2 (61.2%) against the spread, including a WNBA-best 16-7-2 (69.6%) at home.
They are also equipped to slow down the Fever as the best defensive team in the league this season. Golden State has a defensive rating of 98.7 thus far, which is 2.5 points better than anyone else.

Despite being Golden State's marquee signing of the offseason, Gabby Williams hasn't played more than 22 minutes in a game in over two weeks. Head coach Natalie Nakase isn't afraid to mix up rotations based on what is working on any given night.
Williams doesn't have a favorable matchup against the Fever at all. Indiana ranks second in the league in defending spot-up shooters, per Props Madness, which is how Williams gets 34% of her production. It's why Williams finished with six points and three assists in last week's battle with the Fever.
Williams has failed to clear this PRA line in four of her six outings this season. I'll take this Under at -120 or better.
