Two of the teams that are sizzling in the WNBA championship odds will face off to conclude Sunday’s slate when the Atlanta Dream (21-12) clash with the Golden State Valkyries (18-15) at 8:30 p.m. ET (NBA TV) in Chase Center.

Atlanta is a 5.5-point road favorite, but we like the hosts to cover in our Dream vs. Valkyries predictions.

Atlanta’s six-game win streak was snapped with a two-point home loss to the Seattle Storm on Friday. However, I like the Dream’s chances of ending the Valkyries’ four-game win streak on Sunday.

The Dream have been rounding into form under first-year head coach Karl Smesko, winning eight of their last 10 games. They are the better team.

⚔️ Valkyries +5.5 ⭐⭐⭐

📊 Best odds: -110 via BetMGM ($10 to win $9.09)

Up To $1,500 First Bet

Although I expect Atlanta to win this battle, Golden State isn’t an easy team to beat in Chase Center. The Valkyries lead the league in average attendance during their first season as a franchise, which is why they’ve become such an excellent home team.

Golden State is 10-5 at home this year, posting a net rating of +8.8 in those 15 games. The Valkyries have the best defensive rating (93) in the league when playing at home, as they can bring their opponents down to their level.

In a low-scoring matchup, I love the idea of taking the points with Golden State as long as the spread is +5 or better. The Valkyries won outright as 8.5-point road underdogs in their last head-to-head meeting on July 29.

👀 Dream vs. Valkyries player prop

⬆️ Allisha Gray Over 3.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

📊 Best odds: -120 via FanDuel ($10 to win $8.33)

Bet $5, Win $300 in Bonus Bets

With Jordin Canada out for a couple of weeks, I’m curious who will step up as a facilitator for Atlanta’s offensive system. The early results point toward Allisha Gray, who has dished out 10 assists over her past three games and cleared this prop twice.

This line is a touch short for a player with Gray’s usage.
