Best Phillies vs. Dodgers MLB Player Props: NLDS Game 3

Our Phillies vs. Dodgers player props like the value on both starting pitchers in Game 3 of the NLDS on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have a 2-0 lead over the Philadelphia Phillies entering Game 3 of the NLDS at 9:08 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Dodger Stadium on TBS. It sets up an intriguing matchup for our Phillies vs. Dodgers player props.

The Phillies must be aggressive with their season on the line, while the Dodgers have more margin for error as the World Series odds favorites. As such, my MLB picks reflect the difference in how both managers could potentially handle their starters on Wednesday.

💰 Best player prop bets for Dodgers vs. Phillies Game 3

Our MLB player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.

⬆️ Yoshinobu Yamamoto Over 17.5 outs (-150) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts doesn’t trust his bullpen. It’s why he tried to use the ninth inning of Game 2 as a chance to get his relievers some confidence. It’s also why he let Blake Snell finish six innings on Monday.

If Roberts is willing to do that with Snell, I have complete confidence he will trust Yoshinobu Yamamoto to record 18 outs on the chance the Phillies extend the series. He’s cleared this prop in seven of his last eight starts, including 6 2/3 innings against the Cincinnati Reds during the NL Wild Card series.

I’d only play this at -150 or better, which is why bet365 offers the best deal to earn $6.67 on a $10 wager.

⬇️ Aaron Nola Under 0.5 walks (+178) ⭐⭐⭐

The Phillies are giving the ball to Aaron Nola in Game 3, but don’t be surprised if he only faces the lineup once before Ranger Suarez gets the call from the bullpen. That’s what Matt Gelb suggested in his piece for The Athletic, and Nola’s outs prop (8.5) reflects that information.

With that in mind, I like the +178 price tag on Nola not issuing a free pass. There is room for an earlier hook if the Dodgers can chase him, which bodes well for a pitcher with a career 6.4% walk rate.

A $10 wager offers a juicy $17.80 profit.

⬆️ Freddie Freeman Over 1.5 total bases (+123) ⭐⭐⭐

There is a chance the Dodgers move Freddie Freeman up a spot in the lineup (to third) against a right-handed pitcher. The Phillies have used a left-handed starter in the first two games of the series.

If that’s the case, I like the plus-money prices on most of Freeman's props. I went with the Over on his total bases, given he has two doubles in four games this postseason. He can clear this prop with one swing of the bat, cashing $12.30 on a $10 ticket.
