Best Mariners vs. Tigers MLB Player Props: ALDS Game 4

I’m targeting Josh Naylor (-106) and Bryce Miller (-118) for my Mariners vs. Tigers player props in Game 4 of the ALDS.

It could be a historic afternoon today in Detroit as we make our best Mariners vs. Tigers player props for the AL Divisional Series Game 4.

The Seattle Mariners are one win away from their first ALCS berth since 2001, and they're slight -104 favorites against the Detroit Tigers. The Mariners are seeking to move up the World Series odds and win the Fall Classic for the first time in franchise history. My MLB picks believe Seattle can get one step closer with a monumental triumph on Wednesday. First pitch is set for 3:08 p.m. ET from Comerica Park on FS1.

💰 Best player prop bets for Mariners vs. Tigers Game 4

Our MLB player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.

⬆️ Casey Mize Over 9.5 outs (+106) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The market appears to be reacting to Casey Mize’s last playoff start. He pitched three innings against the Cleveland Guardians, but that was when the Tigers benefited from a rested bullpen following Tarik Skubal’s stellar performance.

Detroit used four relievers in last night’s loss after Jack Flaherty recorded 10 outs. The Tigers have used 13 relievers through three games after heavy usage in the final two contests of last week’s wild-card series.

As a result, I project Mize to pitch four innings on Wednesday. I love the plus-money price on his outs prop, which could lead to a $10.60 profit on a $10 bet if he records double-digit outs.

⬆️ Bryce Miller Over 3.5 strikeouts (-118) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was a rocky season for Seattle righty Bryce Miller, who finished 4-6 with a 5.68 ERA across 18 starts. That comes after posting a 2.94 ERA last year. All will be forgotten if Miller can help get the Mariners to the ALCS for the first time in 24 years.

Fortunately, there are signs to suggest Miller is rounding into form after dealing with some right elbow inflammation earlier in the season. Miller has posted a 3.92 FIP over his last 10 starts while striking out 55 batters across 54 2/3 innings.

I project four innings from Miller in Game 4, suggesting value on his strikeouts prop at -130 or better. DraftKings’ discount provides a payout of $8.40 on a $10 bet.

🔥 Josh Naylor Over 1.5 hits, runs, and RBIs (-106) ⭐⭐⭐

Josh Naylor confirmed after last night’s win that he’s a new father. He nearly celebrated the day with a significant hit, as his third-inning flyout would have been a home run in 11 ballparks.

I like Naylor’s chances of coming through on Wednesday to snap a three-game hitless streak this postseason. Not only does Mize offer a more favorable matchup for lefties, but both bullpens are taxed enough there could be plenty of offense in the late innings.

Ballpark Pal’s model projects 1.05 hits, 0.44 runs, and 0.48 RBIs for Naylor in Game 4. This Over offers the best way to capitalize on his impact in the middle of the lineup.
