Best Home Run Predictions Today: MLB Expert Picks & Prop Bets for Friday

My best home run predictions today feature one player from each of the four teams remaining the MLB playoffs.

Friday delivers another LCS doubleheader, giving us plenty of action for our best home run predictions today

The Toronto Blue Jays are now 11-0 all-time on the road in the playoffs when out-homering their opponents. After hitting seven homers in Seattle, they’ve continued their impressive offensive run at T-Mobile Park this season, and I’m focusing on one of their sluggers as the centerpiece of my home run picks today.

Jackson Chourio, Teoscar Hernandez, Cal Raleigh, and George Springer headline my MLB picks today. If all four connect, a $10, four-leg parlay would return more than $4,400 in potential profit.

💣 Best home run pick today

Our MLB player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.

⚾ George Springer, DH, Blue Jays (+405) ⭐⭐⭐

Springer was one of five Blue Jays hitters who went deep in Wednesday’s 13-4 win. The solo blast was the 22nd of his postseason career, tying him for fourth-most all time and leaving him one shy of third place (Kyle Schwarber, 23).

Though Toronto faced a 0-2 series deficit entering Game 3, perhaps we should not have been surprised by its offensive barrage. The Blue Jays had been 6-1 in their previous seven road games against Seattle, averaging 5.1 runs per game, totaling a plus-16 run differential, and recording a .740 team OPS.

Toronto set a franchise record for most extra-base hits in a playoff game (nine) on Wednesday. And no Blue Jays batter has been more accustomed to extra-base hits than Springer, who became the 11th player in MLB history to have each of his first six hits in a postseason run go for extra bases (he added a seventh with yesterday’s double).

Entering yesterday’s Game 4, the Blue Jays were the sixth team in MLB history to score at least 50 runs in their first seven games of a postseason. I expect Springer to be a big part of that continued offensive success tonight.

Springer’s best home run implied odds are 21.28% through Caesars’ +370 odds. But the best return on a winning $10 wager is through DraftKings’ +405 odds, which would net $40.50 in profits if he homers.

I featured two more Blue Jays stars in my best MLB player props today, including a play on Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
