For the first time since Saturday, we have four MLB playoff games on the same day, providing plenty of options from which to make our best home run predictions today.

The Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers kick off Wednesday’s slate with the early 3:08 p.m. ET first pitch, and I am backing a slugger from that game who ranked in the top 45 in regular-season home runs. I am looking to build the momentum off the fourth straight profitable day, as yesterday’s cashes of +540 and +520 helped the ticket finish at +8.6 units. My MLB picks today feature Mookie Betts, Jackson Chourio, Jorge Polanco, and Daulton Varsho. If all of them homer, the four-leg $10 parlay would net over $12,000 in profits.

💣 Best home run prediction today: MLB Divisional Series

Our MLB player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.

⚾ Jorge Polanco, SS, Mariners (+520) ⭐⭐⭐

Polanco is the main reason the Mariners left Seattle with a split, as he turned in a herculean effort in the Game 2 win with two solo home runs and three hits.

In the process, Polanco became just the fourth Mariners player with a multi-homer playoff game, joining Ken Griffey Jr., Edgar Martinez, and Jay Buhner, who accomplished the feat in 1995.

Polanco is one of two current Mariners who have hit a home run off Tigers righty Casey Mize and is the only one with multiple home runs in that split.

Choosing a right-handed batter to homer off Mize should increase the chances of cashing, as Mize allowed 13 of his 21 home runs to righties in 53 fewer at-bats, with a worse HR/9 rate at home.

Mize has allowed at least one home run in four of his previous five starts, and I am backing Polanco as my best home run prediction today to go yard for the fifth time in seven games.

His best implied probability is 18.08% through DraftKings’ +453 odds. But the best return on a winning $10 wager is through FanDuel’s +520 odds, which would net $52 in profits if he homers.
