Best Brewers vs. Cubs MLB Player Props: NLDS Game 3

Milwaukee is looking to sweep Chicago, and I’m breaking it down with my Brewers vs. Cubs player props for NL Divisional Series Game 3.
The Cubs are a -120 moneyline favorite to extend the series today but have fallen way down the World Series odds with their season on the brink. First pitch is set for 5:08 p.m. ET from Wrigley Field in Chicago (TBS). My MLB picks for Game 3 include backing a pair of prolific hitters while fading Jameson Taillon in a win-or-go-home scenario.

💰 Best player prop bets for Brewers vs. Cubs Game 3
Our MLB player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.
⬇️ Jameson Taillon Under 2.5 strikeouts (+102) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a low number, but I don’t expect it to be a particularly long outing for Taillon. The Cubs are facing elimination and will be aggressive with a fully-rested bullpen.
Taillon ranked in the 22nd percentile in strikeouts this season and will face a Brewers lineup that was tied for the fourth-fewest strikeouts during the regular season.
A $10 bet on Taillon’s Under yields a profit of $10.20 at FanDuel. The +102 odds have an implied probability of 49.50%. I was happy to secure this player prop at +102, with BetMGM offering it at -110.
⬆️ Christian Yelich Over 0.5 RBI (+260) ⭐⭐
Yelich is hitting .351 with a pair of homers and four RBI in 37 career at-bats against Taillon. The Brewers' red-hot lineup should give Yelich some opportunities with runners on base.
Yelich’s average was 45 points higher on the road than at home during the regular season, and he posted an .829 road OPS compared to a .759 mark at American Family Field.
A $10 wager on Yelich to drive in at least one run would provide a profit of $26 and has an implied probability of 27.78%.
⬆️ Michael Busch Over 1.5 hits, runs, and RBI (-102) ⭐⭐⭐
Busch had a home run and four RBI in eight at-bats against Brewers pitcher Quinn Priester this season. The Cubs slugger posted a .910 OPS against right-handed pitching and has been swinging a hot bat in the postseason.
Priester’s cutter and sinker were vulnerable at times during the regular season, something Busch could exploit as he had a .538 slugging percentage against fastballs.
A $10 winning wager on Busch to hit the Over on this player prop would provide a profit of $9.80. The implied probability of the -102 odds is 50.50%.
