With a full 15-game MLB slate on Saturday and six of those games being played in the afternoon window, there are plenty of opportunities to cash in early on some best home run predictions today.

My MLB picks center on Toronto Blue Jays slugger Daulton Varsho, who faces one of the most susceptible starting pitchers to the long ball this season. My best home run bets today also take fliers on Pete Alonso, Cody Bellinger, and Elly De La Cruz at potential juicy payouts.

The Blue Jays are the -170 betting favorite at our best sports betting sites to beat the Baltimore Orioles today. That is significant because Toronto has averaged 7.9 runs in their last eight home wins.

Toronto now faces Orioles righty Tomoyuki Sugano, who has allowed six home runs over his last three starts. Sugano’s 27 home runs allowed are tied for the ninth-most among MLB pitchers this season, and he has allowed the most home runs of any starting pitcher on Saturday’s slate.

Sugano has allowed 18 home runs in 302 combined at-bats to left-handed hitters, and just nine home runs in 271 at-bats to righties this year. Thus, we are getting a great price by backing the lefty Varsho instead of Toronto’s more big-name right-handed batters like George Springer and Vladimir Guerrero Jr., especially since Varsho has three multi-hit games in nine starts in September, while homering in one-third of those as well.
