In-gee Chun will aim to defend her KPMG Women's PGA Championship this week at Baltusrol Lower Course; however, she'll need to do so against a highly-competitive field. Read on for our best KPMG Women's PGA Championship picks based on the odds from our best sports betting apps.
Last year at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, In-gee Chun surged ahead with an impressive first-round score of 64, maintaining her lead throughout the weekend to secure victory in the 2022 tournament. However, as she aims to defend her title, Chun doesn't arrive at this week's event in the best form, having missed the cut at the Meijer LPGA Classic last week.
Guess who didn't miss the cut at the Meijer LPGA Classic? That's right, it's Leona Maguire! She emerged with a thrilling +2000 outright win for me at the Meijer LPGA Classic. But hey, we're not stopping there. We're aiming for consecutive victories on the LPGA because one win just isn't satisfying enough!
It's worth noting that several top players on the LPGA chose to skip the Meijer LPGA Classic to adequately prepare for the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Interestingly, a number of these players who avoided the Meijer LPGA Classic have found their way onto our betting card as we prepare for the second major championship on the LPGA schedule.
Let's look at our best KPMG Women's PGA Championship picks from our best sports betting sites.

KPMG Women's PGA Championship picks and predictions 2023
Nelly Korda to win (+1400)
Korda hasn't played since May 11 at the Cognizant Founders Cup due to a back injury, and it's astonishing how little I care about her return from injury once I found a +1800 available at BetMGM on Tuesday. She's still very much worth backing at +1400.
Korda is currently ranked third on the LPGA this season, with an average of 2.16 strokes gained: total. Additionally, she's a former champion of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in 2021, where she won the event by three strokes and finished nine strokes ahead of third place.
The question of her back's health always lingers, and only Korda truly knows the answer. However, if she's healthy and prepared to compete, +1400 is an absolute steal for Korda.
Jin Young Ko to win (+1200)
Sometimes, we tend to overthink our golf bets, but in reality, it's not as difficult as it seems. Often, it becomes quite obvious who we should be placing our bets on. While there are numerous skilled players in both the LPGA and the PGA, the question remains: Who can handle the pressure of a Sunday round in front of a large crowd during a major championship and come out as the winner?
Certain players possess the ability to close out tournaments, and Jin Young Ko is undoubtedly one of them. Since 2017, Ko has clinched 15 victories on the LPGA. I urge you to research other golfers who hold high rankings in the Rolex Rankings and observe how many tournaments they have actually won during that period—not just top-five finishes, but actual victories. I highly doubt it amounts to 15.
Ko's position as the world's No. 1-ranked player is well-deserved. She is in good health this season and leads the LPGA in strokes gained: total, with an impressive average of 2.23 per round. Considering all these factors, and with odds of +1400 available through BetMGM, I believe it's a wise decision to include her in your portfolio this week at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

Atthaya Thitikul to win (+1200 via BetMGM)
Have I just recommended the three favorites as my top three outright bets for the KPMG Women's PGA Championship? Yes, indeed. I believe the pricing offered by BetMGM allows us to take this approach because they have allocated a larger portion of their hold percentage to Hyo Joo Kim (+1400) and Rose Zhang (+1600), which we don't see at our other best sportsbooks.
Throughout this season, I've repeated this statement every chance I get, and if there were a prop bet available for it, I would wager on it: Thitikul is going to win a major championship on the LPGA this season. Thitikul currently holds the second position on the LPGA in strokes gained: total, boasting an average of 2.17. Furthermore, she achieved a commendable fourth-place finish at this tournament last year.
The best odds for Thitikul can be found at BetMGM, where she's trading at +1200 to win the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Most of our preferred best live betting sites have set the Thai golfer's odds at +1100, with PointsBet offering slightly shorter odds at +1000.
