McIlroy wasn't able to defend his 2014 PGA Championship title at Valhalla nor did he end his decade-long major drought. He finished just T-12 in the second major of 2024.

Still, he'll remain among the consensus betting favorites by the 2025 PGA Championship odds as a four-time winner of the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow.
