Butterfield Bermuda Championship picks & predictions
Lucas Glover to win (+2500 via BetMGM)
Forty-three-year-old Lucas Glover is the best golfer in this field. He ranks the highest of all in this field at No. 31 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) and he was a two-time PGA Tour winner in August. After bizarrely being left off the U.S. Ryder Cup team, Glover returned to competitive play with a lackluster T-59 finish in last week's World Wide Technology Championship in Mexico.
Glover debuted in this event last year with a T-63 finish; however, he's been a completely different golfer ever since. Glover ranks among the field leaders in driving accuracy across his last 12 measured rounds while ranking second with 1.11 true strokes gained: approach in that span. His 1.67 strokes gained: tee-to-green lead the field, and he ranks 10th on the PGA Tour in birdie-or-better percentage from inside 125 yards.
Those are the key stats for this week, and they treated Glover well on route to his victory in the PGA Tour's FedEx St. Jude Championship, which was played on the comparable TPC Southwind in Memphis, TN.
