U.S. Open props betting tips

Even with the U.S. Open annually switching courses, the common theme of tough conditions has become the norm, and Pinehurst No. 2 should prove to be another daunting test.

The par-70 track played to 7,562 yards in 2014, so adding hard and lightning fast greens to thick and challenging rough projects to make for difficult scoring conditions. Of course, there will also be a splash of major-championship pressure, so players are going to need to be firing on all cylinders to be successful.

As noted, Kaymer won the 2014 edition with a 271 score (-9), but only two other players shot under par, with Erik Compton and Rickie Fowler each shotting 279 (-1).
