It’s not by default. At least when I joined in 2024 my account didn’t have it. After I had success live betting they added the 30-60 second delay on my account. I’ve pretty much moved away from using them because of this. None of the other sportsbooks do this (Bovada, bookmaker, heritage)

Well basketball is a fast changing sport by nature.
If I am trying to bet Home -3.5 ,I am clicking "place bet" then they go and miss a shot or make a turnover or make a 3pointer, the line changes within 15-20seconds to either -2.5 or -4.5.
If the sportsbook has by default a 30sec delay for all livebet wagers , with no option of "accept line changes"then how is any bettor supposed to be using livebetting for basketball or tennis or even soccer?
I doubt its just me.
As the guy that I quoted said , he also has a 30sec delay and I am not such a big winner for this delay to be applied only to me.

I don't think they do have that by default. I believe it's a player management tool.

I might be wrong and things could have changed, but like you say it makes no sense to bother offering the market if the default setting makes betting them impossible.

I am using BetOnline and they also require ALTEAST 30seconds (I counted them with my watch lol) for my bet to get accepted.
How is it expected for bettors to make inplay wagers on basketball for example, that the handicap line changes every possesion or every missed/made basket, for the bets on a specific line to go in and not get rejected if there is a 30sec delay upon the moment you click "place wager" ?

I deposited 5k with them to test them out b4 Football. I give them a 2 out of 10. If it was just live betting I'd give them a 1. You wont get a bet in if the game is live on both there live services I'm talking 30 second delays and getting rejected for 200 wagers. The website is very clean but horrible to use for the Avg gambler. I will be cashing out tomorrow and won't be back. The only upside to this place is if u r a degen and play the Lottery. They still do pay 9/1 on numbers as 5dimes did. Also no if u take a Bonus don't do it during baseball!!! U can't bet any Money Lines with a bonus. It has to be a total or a spread between -140/+140 so no -1.5 unless the team is -200 on the ML.. I didn't take the bonus because of this. How r u supposed to bet Baseball if u can't bet a ML? I was very unimpressed with this outfit and it's a stay away for me for the upcoming football season.

BOL pushes the bonuses for those "pools". Anyone ever win one. Sure is endless number of listed entries. If those are legit, BOL is huge.
Stick to Bitcoin with them. Do not use a Credit Card unless you enjoy insane fees and getting hacked later on.

Probably the best offshore book left. They pay out instantly. I wish they didn't get rid of free plays but the weekly/monthly stuff is still okay.

BOL is one of the most trustworthy outs in the offshore space. I have been a customer for a decade. Never had an issue with payouts (which are often within MINUTES of submission) and have had a couple of wager disputes handled quickly and professionally.

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with the parlay builder on BetOnline lately?
Twice this week, I built out a 4-leg parlay and when I clicked “Place Bet,” the odds reset and one of the picks disappeared. I double-checked and confirmed I didn’t touch anything.

It’s frustrating because I had a good payout lined up — nothing crazy — and the system just booted one of my selections without warning. Tried on desktop and mobile, same result.

Would love to hear if this is happening to anyone else or if it’s just on my end.

The agent didn't explain anything to me but they simply took my 460usd winnings from 2 wagers.

Well just in case it turns out that it is, your argument should then be "a danger period which I could not know about, that occurred 15 minutes before the market was decided, should have no bearing on the validity of my bet".

I believe the operator is trying to explain that the market "should have" been suspended at the moment your bet was taken. Due to something like a danger zone play period probably.

The reason they cancel 2 hours later is that that is when they compare the match incident report times to the bet times.

I am not saying I agree that is fair, just explaining what is happening.

On Saturday night I made a wager on a big fav in the ESPN Boxing Main event - Xander Zayas v Juan Garcia.
Zayas -700 fave, Garcia +500

I had multiple parlays involving UFC (which was Saturday afternoon) with Zayas and post-UFC those wagers were all dead due legs losing.

So now it's Saturday evening and I got no action on the fight, and I just empty my acct on Zayas chalk. (He was -500 range all day but steamed to -700 before the fight)
Oh well, I was going to watch the fight and very confident he was going to win but unsure if by KO/Judges.
I empty my account (~$1300 on Zayas -700) 15-20min before the fight starts.

Xander Zayas wins comfortably via UD.

I log-in to my account and see my balance is at 0 and my wager has been graded at a loss.
Very confused i go to my bet history and see my wager says:
Garcia -700 LOSS (see attached screenshot)

So i'm very confused. Garcia was never -700, he was more like +500. And I would never bet on him. How did my wager on Zayas turn to a wager on Garcia???? And not Garcia at his dog price but at the fav Zayas price? There was no line error as I remember being frustrated at Zayas steaming to -700 (he had been -550 earlier Sat) and they had the correct odds on the fight all day/evening.


Does anyone have any guidance on what may have transpired here??
Is there some sort of glitch on their end that's ever been reported. I have never seen anything like this and I've wagered across so many books for 20+yrs.

I've opened multiple tickets with their support team - each time I get a quick dismissive "you bet on garcia and he lost".
Not addressing the incorrect line on the ticket and how that was literally an impossible wager to make.
I've reached out on twitter to Dave and Adam (BetOnline SB ppl that post on twitter) and have gotten no reply at all.

What to make of this??

BETONLINE was a SPONSOR in the fight (see attached pic) and Dave (@DaveMasonBOL) sent a tweet post-fight saying 'congrats to all the Zayas backers" so they surely know all the info regarding the fighters/odds. There was no line error I was upset at Zayas steaming to -700 but still decided to go on with the bet.
I have no idea how this happened and feel like it should be simple to rectify?

But here I am, 5 days later still with zero balance and zero attention toward the matter from BOL.

If anyone has any guidance on what I should do, or have heard of anything similar plz advise. Hadn't visited forums in a min but it was first place i thought of where I could maybe get some advice/see if anyone has seen anything similar before. It seems like I'm the victim of some nasty glitch in a bad dream.

Yes we have seen this type of glitch before.

I suggest making your explanation a lot shorter when approaching the book. None of the story makes any difference to a grading decision and probably is only confusing the problem with CS people.

"I bet on the chalk fave. The betting history now shows my bet as the other fighter with the odds switched. Please escalate this to a manager for review as the CS person I have tried to address this with does not appear to understand the situation."

After contacting them via e-mail, this was resolved very quickly.
BO said a trader erred in flipping odds momentarily for the fight which i mistakenly bet into.
They refunded my wager as they say it should've been no-actioned.

One more tid -bit for you, if you bet at any USA book and you push a Bonus Bet u lose it. No need to call them. Trust me. USA books deal in .5 spreads mostly but It happens.

I haven’t used offshore in months and today will be my last experience.

First deposit ever at Betonline, took the welcome bonus , called their wagering department before I made a bet to ask if a push lline or bet on the free bet would result in bet losing and was told no if I pushed the bet I would get the free bet (free play) back. Then of course bet pushed they grade a loss, despite me having called in. Said it didn’t matter that I was misinformed and I should know the rules, even though that’s what I was calling to do, to make sure I understood before I placed wager.

Done with offshore, finally started betting US books this year, will never deal with the headache again of offshore
