I also agree with this. I agree with both of you. We all have rights. I just think that we as a people should try our best not to upset others. For example, showing public affection (PDAs). Yes, I can kiss my wife in public but why would I spread eagle her and grope her in front of a group of young kids in front of a school. Maybe I can do it at an adult musical festival or the AVN awards. Time and place. I should not let my rights offend others. Yes, they can kick rocks but I personally try my best not to make others uncomfortable unless I have to.

I think we all should have an agreeing spirit. If someone says, "do you mind not doing that", our first response should be, "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know it was upsetting you" and move on as friends. Unfortunately, too many people will start a fight and say, who are you to tell me what to do. A lot of people are angry and don't want to get along with others.

I'd estimate at least 10-20% of the parents aren't fit. Maybe more. The ones wanting to cut off their kids dick is a very low percentage. What about all the others? What is the solution? The only I can think of is a strong public school system where hopefully those kids can be surrounded by good examples of others. They are not going to get it at home.

I do get it Jake.
I think people can be fairly centered and still be appalled at some of this sexual crap for instance that is stuffed in our faces. You can also be fairly centered and be appalled at things pushed by the other side or whatever other nonsense someone wants to focus on. There are plenty to go around. And all issues should not be assigned to one side or the other but... they are. And who assigns those?
The far other side, no matter which one, making sure that anyone that wants to say center must make a choice, a hard yes or no choice about that issue. Whichever side is doing something associated with them, the other side makes a huge deal of it to rile up people which creates division which creates sides, which creates anger, which creates tribalism, which creates, wait for it... revenue for the far right and left media, podcasts, TV, and all that pertains. So... do the sides really care about say for instance, the kids??? or is the true motivation, profit? If we are being honest with ourselves, I think most of us know that answer.

No dialogue, no meeting to join together and fight as one on anything, just more division. That is all I have seen. That's all some want.

I am glad I did not see the beginning of the Olympics and what apparently went on with that B.S. If I had tuned in to watch the ceremonies, I sure as hell didn't tune in to see what was shown.
My grandkids are in the midst of this 10 and12 year old school exposure BS and it makes me sick because of what I am left to assume. It makes their parents sick as well, but they are all over it and their kids have enough behind them to understand from their parents that it is all bullcrap. If it helps, my 12 yr. old says her and her friends all laugh about it and mock those select few teachers that push it for being idiots they see them as. In their case, they are not confused but appalled. She also says she has a gay male teacher who is one of their collective favorites. He does not push that, but they all realize it for what it is. Those 12 year old's have a clue.

The 10 year old says all his friends think it is stupid and they don't care. This is pretty cool to see but I am sure that there are a ton of kids who might not have the support others might have and could be harmed by it. And, I suppose some could be helped by it. In time, like most things, it will work itself out, but for those that suffer for yet another mistake made by adults, at what cost? That should not be lost on anyone no matter the LGTBXYZ they want to be or think they are.

Any solid point made is almost always thrown away when disrespect comes into play. All that breeds is more of the same in return. I mention that because I , like many I'm sure, do see some clown shows on these boards. But I also see some very intelligent and passionate people.
I think it would be pretty nice if at least some on these boards could find consensus. Maybe a consensus thread. Not as much fun as arguing I guess, but it would be a breath of fresh air. Wouldn't the far edge networks be upset about that? Adults getting along and figuring things out without opinions by talking heads. Kind of like the 10 and 12 year old's are doing.

The will lie by saying republicans are banning books when books in school have been banned forever. The Right doesn't want 6-10 year olds being taught (or having access to) about oral sex in school. There are countless examples. Its like some kind of cult they are in. I probably played with my sister's dolls when I was 3 but my parents never say that as a sign that I might be a girl. I read that children who identify as trans has increased 3X just in the last few years.
