In a regular flu season in the U.S you can have 20,000 people die of flu related symptoms. We have around 60 deaths right now and my guess is it will not go over 200. After all the paranoia Corona will likely be a footnote to a flu season.

I just calculated the penny theory that Galt mentioned. If you get one penny on 4/1 and double it every day for 31 days you get that 21 million number

I came up with a 30 day total of $10,737,418.23. On the last day you will get $5,368,709.12. All the previous totaled days will always equal .01 less than the amount you receive on the last day. Which means the grand total will always be twice the total of the last day -.01.

Unfortunately for us... the Coronavirus will not stop after 30 days. I don't see any solution in sight. A nationwide lockdown might help but I'm doubtful that it would actually work in the long run. I think this is something we're just going to have to get used to for at least the next year or so. I hope I'm wrong about this... but... what are the solutions?
