Depending upon the age, the average duration of the virus that ends in death is 17-18 days. That data may have changed with the mass spread in Italy and the elderly. Regardless, it might be a little early to make jokes about it. Also, Kudos to Ohio gov. I think he implemented a number of measures early to try and mitigate the surge.

In a regular flu season in the U.S you can have 20,000 people die of flu related symptoms. We have around 60 deaths right now and my guess is it will not go over 200. After all the paranoia Corona will likely be a footnote to a flu season.

We did. Or, at least, take a big sized chunk out of it. And I would imagine it was the millions of deaths scenario that prompted that choice.
