can't they check travel itinerary and know who has been to ChinaThis isn't surprising. Have entered the United States numerous times over the last month. They simply ask at the border "have you been to China in the last 14 days." Easy for people to lie. No one wants to be in quarantine for 14 days so even people who have been to China and might feel a little under the weather will just say "no." Then they go out into their community - work place, airports, restaurants, shopping malls - and can easily infect a hundred people in one day. Fortunately the disease itself isn't fatal if you're otherwise healthy and treated early.
Airports are probably the worst places to be these days - people from all over the world transiting to places all over the world in the same space. It's only a matter of time until the SBR community is infected since BOOAH is constantly at airports, flying around the country to meet up with internet posters.

I ve been in the Philippines for a month and its been business as usual for the most part with Temp checks a key checkpoints, spent time in Manila and also some of the tropical islands. Real surprised they ve only had 3 cases here so far, they banned the chinese quite early to be proactive and I believe that helped and sounds like they will ban Koreans also any day nowComment -

The virus itself is real. Are you saying it's being blown out of proportion? Could be. Time will tell. When you say "this is all media driven" what are you saying exactly? If it was a fake virus and nobody was actually getting sick... this would be a different story. American health care is good for rich that's it no one else. That's fine if you have money. I'm a staunch conservative but no way in hell could I support the American system. It's antiquated. Sure if you need a surgery WITHOUT waiting times you go to the USA because no one but rich people can afford it in America that's why the wait times are low.

It could have to do with reports coming in at the end of a day or the timing in general, as Italy had new cases reported.
Know that some of those 57 US cases are now listed as recovered, not existing cases.Comment -

We're not adding no cases in the US though, we are just having existing cases recover. That's not the direction you would expect if it was curtains for us all.
The two cases in Chicago are now listed as recovered, there are no existing cases in Chicago anymore, but they are still in the count of 57 total US cases...
