It truly is, but my dumb decision to let him drive the car wasn’t because of it. He’s just an obnoxious bitch who won’t shut up. I just wanted to go to a party. We get there and he immediately wants to drive around selling drugs. Didn’t get back until 2 AM. Then he pesters me to drive. I just want a drink, so I relented. Worst decision of my life. I should have just said he stole the damn thing. He did though. I had the key, the car was just on until he turned it off, and couldn’t start it again.
He walked back, supposedly, and took the key from me to go get it and bring it back. Apparently that isn’t theft. I didn’t want him to have it. Could have found the car with him not having the key. So, apparently my mom is shit out of luck with insurance. 30 grand SUV down the drain. There ain’t no coming back from this one boys. I need an all time run once football starts to just drop 30 large on the table, and say here ya go Ma. Let’s move on from this now.
I can’t afford to Uber to work daily. It costs damn near what I make in a night. No more tips for the drivers, sorry guys. Last night cost me $50 for round trip. I always knew $$$ was sharp, yet I shrugged his shit off and thought it was funny that I was smoking all my money away on crack. I’m just a drunk, drug addict, dipshit, dork. Some things will never change. I finally had my life back on track after drinking and drugging since I was 12. A girl, a job, a proud family for the first time in ages. I was just so alone, that meeting a group that took me in was enough for me. They used me early, but they all realize I’m good people now, and really want to help. I shouldn’t say all. Some still just wait for me to get paid, and are like sharks when the chum is thrown out. I’d move in with them if I could since it would only be like a 25-30 minute walk to work, but there’s like 8-9 people already jammed in there, and eviction possible. Really
not sure how I recover from this. I’ve been in trouble before because of drugs, alcohol, terrible decisions, but I’ve never cost my mom anything like this.
My neighbor is like the neighborhood watch take things way too seriously guy. He drove around last night looking for it. He wants to go back out with my tomorrow or sometime. And to think, my mom doesn’t like him. I have to work of course, but maybe get it done beforehand. It’s probably in a garage anyway. My old busted up laptop, and sentimental clothes all gone. I don’t care about money, and materials, but my mom sure does. Obviously this is a situation that is completely warranted. Great start to retirement I gave her. Silver lining is I can’t drive to get booze, and drugs now. So, I’ll be cleaning up.Comment -

If the guy took off with your car and didn't bring it back, then he stole it. There isn't some loophole with insurance and the police department. If this wasn't BS, your mom would file a police report and file an insurance claim. Especially if it's a 30k vehicle that she owns.

She has done both of those things, and whatever else possible. I had to talk to the insurance adjuster, and it just came across to me that he was agreeing with the notion that it wasn’t stolen, therefore they weren’t liable for any insurance payment. I’m not sure how all that works. I don’t have much to show you that I’m not lying, plus I couldn’t careless what you believe. I can post his rap sheets, but that wouldn’t prove anything since it doesn’t say Shaky, I don’t believe.
I rarely make threads here. I wouldn’t waste my time coming up with some story about me starting to smoke crack, and some guy named Shaky running off with my Mom’s car as a 31 year old man who is only not homeless or dead because his mother cares too much. Appreciate it. I enjoy writing, and now I actually have some material to roll with. Would be a bit nicer if it was a story about an epic run in Vegas with the booze and bitches flowing. Tipping everyone like Dumb and Dumber. Me betting the max the books will take, surrounded by my adoring freeloaders. Crazy wins with last second Hail Mary’s. Instead, I’m going to move in with that group it seems. They live close to my work, about a 20-30 minute walk so I can still work, and pay for a spot to get no sleep. Fckin cats too, but they haven’t bothered my allergies yet. My mom actually thinks it’s a good idea cause she had a chat with Queen Hustler, who did give Shaky’s full name for $50. Then talked my mom into how it would be good for me to live with them. I guess leaving out the rampant drug use, and the cops stopping by on the daily part. She promptly ended up in jail not long after that. Did chase Shaky down, and try to get my car back.
