#1974Once again the blue line liars' testimony and police reports don't match their violent actions on their bodycam footage. Pigs.
Army Vet Acquitted After Body Cam Proved He Shot at Police Officers in Self-Defense
Minneapolis, MN — Last year, after the death of George Floyd sparked protests and riots across the country, Americans watched as the police state showed its teeth. TFTP reported on multiple instances of police violently attacking peaceful protesters, up to and including cops in California shooting a grandmother in her face with a rubber bullet.
Many folks were horribly injured by the police violence with some losing their sight forever. It was nothing short of a brutal occupation in which countless innocent people found themselves victims to police violence.
Jaleel Stallings, 29, was one of these victims and unlike the grandma mentioned above, he was able to defend himself against an unprovoked attack by police. His act of self-defense, however, got him charged with attempted murder.
Though some of the folks involved in the George Floyd protests were causing damage, rioting and looting, Stallings was one of the many peaceful protesters. But the fact that he was innocent, was no defense against brutal police violence.
On May 30, after police had imposed a curfew, officers used this as an excuse to dole out mass violence. Body camera footage shown during Stallings’ murder trial showed that police were seemingly ecstatic that they were given a pass to hurt anyone they wanted.
Sgt. Andrew Bittell was one of these cops who received orders to quite literally “f**k people up.”
“Drive down Lake Street. You see a group, call it out. OK great! F*** ’em up, gas ’em, f*** ’em up,” Bittell was told.
That’s when he turned to his SWAT team in an unmarked white van and said, “Alright, we’re rolling down Lake Street. The first f***ers we see, we’re just hammering ’em with 40s,” according to body camera footage.
The term “40s” is short for the “less than lethal” rubber bullets which are 40 millimeter rounds.
As the SWAT team drove around looking for unsuspecting victims, around 10 pm, they found a group of people outside of a gas station and decided to open fire on them without warning.
“Let ’em have it boys!” Bittell told his crew of SWAT cops ready to inflict violence.
“Right there, get ’em, get ’em, get ’em, hit ’em, hit ’em!” he ordered.
The group of people this SWAT team opened fire on were not protesters. They were the owners of the store and their friends who were protecting their property from looters. One of them was also a reporter with VICE News who identified himself as “press” as the cops unloaded a fury of “less than lethal” rounds at them.
Police subsequently attacked and beat the VICE reporter, throwing him to the ground and pepper spraying him in the face. About an hour later, this same violent group of officers found Stallings walking home through a parking lot and decided to open fire on him without warning.
Stallings was hit in the chest with a 40 mm round and because the SWAT team was in an unmarked car and did not identify themselves, Stallings, an honorably discharged Army veteran, thought he was under attack and had been shot for real. He immediately pulled out his legally owned mini Draco pistol and fired three times.
“I immediately thought I was being shot at with real bullets and was about to die. I was under the impression that I was bleeding out,” Stallings told reporters.
That’s when the SWAT team jumped out of the vehicle yelling, “shots fired!”
As soon as Stallings realized they were cops, body camera footage shows he surrendered and immediately dropped the gun and lay face down on the pavement.
Despite the fact that he surrendered and was not moving at all, the SWAT team proceeded to beat the hell out of him, fracturing his eye socket in the process. Even though they beat the hell out of him, Stallings expressed relief when he asked if any officers were hurt by his warning shots.
Stallings was then kidnapped by the SWAT team and charged with two counts of attempted second-degree intentional, non-premeditated murder, two counts of first-degree assault, deadly force against police officers, two counts of second-degree assault, use of a dangerous weapon, one count of second-degree rioting and one count of intentional discharge of a firearm.
Police created an elaborate web of lies and used the lies to railroad Stallings. Thankfully, however, unlike the cops, the body camera footage did not lie.
“Officer Stetson and Sergeant Bittell allowed their anger and/or fear to overtake their faculties and they beat Mr. Stallings for nearly 30 seconds before attempting to place him in handcuffs,” Judge William Koch wrote. “The video evidence does not support their testimony Mr. Stallings was resisting arrest in any way, instead he surrendered to their authority.”
Last week, after the truth was presented, Stallings was acquitted and all of the bogus charges thrown out. The court ruled that Stallings acted in self-defense against his attackers and was justified in shooting at them — despite the fact that they were cops.

#1976Cop Arrested After Body Cam Showed Him Shove His Flashlight Up Teen’s Buttocks
Chicago, IL — A 17-year-old troubled kid who allegedly carjacked a motorist should be riding out his sentence in prison for his crimes. However, because Chicago Police Department lieutenant Wilfredo Roman — with a history of excessive force complaints — couldn’t contain his sadistic and violent impulses, that 17-year-old kid will likely be receiving a hefty sum of taxpayer money.
The incident unfolded on February 9, 2021 when the 17-year-old and a 16-year-old allegedly approached a man sitting in a 2005 silver Mazda on the 1900 block of North La Crosse Avenue, and carjacked him at gunpoint.
Police reported that Roman spotted the car about 20 minutes later and attempted to pull them over. The teens then ditched the car and Roman reported over the radio that they were fleeing on foot.
According to police, the 16-year-old threw a Hi-Point C9 handgun over a fence before attempting to jump the fence to get away. Before he could scale the fence, however, police took him down and he was arrested.
The 17-year-old boy did not attempt to flee once police told him to stop and he immediately surrendered and was placed in handcuffs. Once in custody, the teen told officers that his handcuffs were too tight and while one officer adjusted the cuffs, Roman saw his opportunity to sexually assault the teen with his flashlight.
As the teen was handcuffed and pressed against the car, Roman yelled at him to “shut up!” before walking up behind him and shoving his flashlight up the teen’s buttocks.
According to the body camera footage, the teen yelled out in pain as Roman again barked at him to “shut up!”
“That’s what you get for carjacking,” Roman told the boy as he walked away.
After the body camera footage came to light, Roman was subsequently suspended with pay in July and charged this month with two felonies, aggravated battery and official misconduct.
During a recent hearing this month, Roman’s police union-appointed attorney downplayed the sexual assault via flashlight and likened it to a spanking.
“This is a spank or a spanking, for the love of God. I had nuns that treated me far worse,” Roman’s attorney James McKay told Cook County Judge Arthur Wesley Willis during Roman’s hearing. “Your honor, the flashlight in question is smaller than my pen,” he added.
The court, however, disagreed and pointed out the obvious — the teen was in custody, no longer a threat, and Roman is not the judge, jury, and executioner.
“The fact that the individual may have engaged in a serious felony offense does not mean he should be treated in any way different than anyone else who may come into contact with police,” the judge replied. “That is not an argument that this court finds very persuasive.”
According to the Chicago Tribune, Roman has a tainted history with dozens of complaints mounted against him. Roman has been the subject of 40 citizen complaints during his career with the department, including allegations of excessive force and false arrest. He has also been sued for misconduct allegations at least three times in the past decade, according to the Tribune.
One of the excessive force lawsuits involved an 82-year-old woman who alleges that Roman tasered her for no reason. Though he’s been the subject of 40 complaints, he wasn’t disciplined for any of them except for a reprimand involving a prisoner escape.
Highlighting his blue privilege, the judge allowed Roman to walk out of the court with no bail and he was also allowed to keep his service weapon and job.

Police Union President Arrested for Stealing $50K from Fellow Cops, Including Funds for Wounded Cop
Clermont, FL — Clermont officer Jeremy Kevitt wasn’t just any old cop — he was the president of the Clermont Police Officers Union with decades of time on the force. His status at the union granted him special access that other officers did not have and in true scumbag fashion, he abused this access and stole from his brothers in blue.
Kevitt was arrested on Labor Day for allegedly stealing $50,000 from his own union, including the theft of money from a fund set up to pay for the medical bills of a wounded cop.
For years, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Kevitt abused his position as the union president. In 2014, he began the theft by obtaining an ATM card to the police union bank account. No one on the union board approved the measure.
Kevitt’s theft spanned the course of several years as he stole $30,000 from an account that is funded by his fellow cops with their union dues. He also stole $20,000 from an account set up to pay medical bills for a wounded cop that was funded with donations and fundraising events.
“Funds from the union account could only be used to benefit CPD officers and local charities, but the investigation shows Kevitt used the account to pay his personal expenses at grocery stores, gas stations, home improvement stores and for personal travel,” FDLE spokesperson Gretl Plessinger said in a news release. “After paying the medical expenses [for the injured officer], nearly $20,000 was to be donated. However, investigators believe Kevitt instead spent the money on himself.”
According to investigators, the scheme was discovered in November of last year when Kevitt became so addicted to stealing from his fellow cops that he overdrafted the account.
When the overdraft was discovered, cops at the CPD confronted Kevitt who “was defensive and complained that he did not have help managing the account,” the FDLE report said.
Once the CPD started looking into the charges, they realized they were for personal expenses at grocery and home improvement stores, gas stations and for personal travel.
The thieving cop reportedly justified a $100 purchase from Publix as Thanksgiving dinners for the “less fortunate” and a $200 cash withdrawal as a food bank donation. When they asked him about the $112 bill at a local Indian restaurant, Kevitt got up and walked out of the meeting.
After that meeting an internal investigation was launched and in March, in an attempt to avoid accountability, Kevitt submitted his resignation notice to the department. He left in April before the investigation was complete.
In August of 2018, the CPD made a Facebook post about Kevitt and his dedication to the community and years of honorable service. The post was saturated with praise for Kevitt as he assumed his new position as a School Resource officer at Imagine South Lake Charter School. Little did they know that he was robbing them blind as they showered him with extolment.
Their tone has since shifted after this criminal cop was arrested this week and charged with felony charges of grand theft and organized fraud.
“Police officers are held to a higher standard, and while employed with the Clermont Police Department, Jeremy Kevitt violated the oath of office he swore to uphold and the trust that was placed in him by his fellow officers, staff and the International Union of Police Associations. I personally thank the union board members and Clermont Police Department personnel for holding those accountable when one errs from our core values and the high standard set for this noble profession,” said Clermont Police Chief Charles Broadway in a statement.
So much for that whole “higher standard” thing.
