#1867“You’re killing me!” Cops Arrested After Bashing Man’s Face in With a Gun, Strangling Him
Aurora, CO — In his last few words on this planet, an aspiring massage therapist from Aurora, Elijah McClain could be heard saying, “I’m an introvert. I’m just different. That’s all. I’m so sorry. I have no gun. I don’t do that stuff. I don’t do any fighting. Why are you attacking me? I don’t even kill flies! I don’t eat meat! But I don’t judge people, I don’t judge people who do eat meat. Forgive me … I’m so sorry.”
He was innocent, successful, and a light in this often dark world, and Aurora police killed him for being different. Then, after they killed him, they went back to the scene of the crime and reenacted it for fun. This is not some case of a bad apple. This is systemic and sadistic and shortly after these atrocities, the department made the news several more times. Now, they are in the news once again, this time for doing the same thing to another man, Kyle Vinson. Luckily for Vinson, however, he was not killed and his attackers are now in jail.
Vinson’s attack took place last Friday and the body camera footage was just released this week.
“The video will strike your conscience,” said Aurora Police Chief Vanessa Wilson to reporters on Tuesday. “I know as I watched it I felt myself welling up with tears as well as anger.”
Indeed, this is exactly what the video does.
According to police, Aurora officers John Haubert and Francine Martinez stopped three young men who were hanging out in a parking lot. While detaining them, they ran their names and claimed that all three of them had outstanding warrants. Two of the young men the fled while Kyle Vinson remained seated and cooperated with police.
However, his cooperation was no defense against Haubert’s violent attack that followed.
As Vinson lie facedown on the ground, Haubert begins strangling him as he bashes his gun into Vinson’s skull. Blood begins pouring from Vinson’s face and head, seemingly inspiring the violent cop to dish out more abuse.
At this point, Vinson is begging for the officer to stop, literally crying, saying “Please stop! Don’t shoot me,” and “You’re killing me!”
As the assault continued, Vinson started crying for help from anyone who could hear him. But no help would come.
“If you move I will shoot you,” Haubert says as he strangles Vinson for nearly a minute causing him to start losing consciousness.
Eventually, another officer arrives on the scene and thinks Haubert is the victim so he tasered Vinson. Vinson was then handcuffed but he did not go to jail. He was brought to the hospital instead.
“We’re disgusted. We’re angry. This is not police work,” Wilson said. “We don’t train this. It is not acceptable.”
She also stated that it was likely that Vinson didn’t know there was a warrant out for his arrest because it was from another county.
On Tuesday, both Haubert and Martinez was arrested and booked into jail for their crimes. Haubert was charged with attempted first-degree assault, second-degree assault, oppression, felony menacing and first-degree official misconduct. Martinez was charged with failing to intervene and report use of force by a peace officer. Haubert has been placed on unpaid leave while Martinez is currently on paid leave.
“We will continue to do training and we will continue to take people out of this agency if that is how they’re going to police,” Wilson said. “It’s not right.”
“I hope that the transparency that we’re giving you here today, as well as the swift action by our police department can make some of you believe that we are trying to do the right thing,” she said. “We are trying to reform, and we are trying to make a difference. This is not the Aurora police department.”
According to Colorado Public Radio, Vinson is now being represented by a Denver civil rights firm, which in a statement Tuesday said the “vicious, unprovoked assault” on him “illuminates the ongoing issue of police violence, particularly against communities of color.”

The City of Seat Pleasant has been ordered to pay $500,000 to a man that suffered abuse at the hands of Officer Marcellus Loving and a rookie officer being trained. While this is good news for the victim, Officer Loving is still working for the city.
There has also been no action taken against Police Chief Devan Martin and Lieutenant Marcus Jones who colluded to protect Officer Loving by hiding evidence and engaging in a smear campaign targeting the employee who exposed the civil rights violations.Comment -

While Out on Bail for Raping Domestic Violence Victim, Cop Arrested AGAIN for Raping Another Victim
Spokane, WA — The now-former Spokane police officer Nathan Nash, 38, has been out on bail awaiting trial for the alleged rape of a woman who called police for help after she had been the victim of domestic violence. While awaiting his trial, Nash was arrested again this week on new charges of raping another woman while on duty who also called police for help.
In the new case, Nash faces charges of second-degree rape and unlawful imprisonment, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office reported in a news release this week.
According to police, Nash was first arrested in 2019 for the first instance and then fired by the department shortly after.
According to the arrest reports, both victims told investigators that Nash was the officer who showed up to their calls for police assistance. Though nothing happened on the first visit because he was accompanied by a partner, Nash allegedly followed up later on, alone.
According to police, it was during these “follow-up” visits that Nash raped his victims. The Spokesman-Review reported that Julie Humphreys, a spokesperson for the Spokane Police Department, said it’s not uncommon for officers to follow up on an investigation alone, but corporals would typically be the ones to take pictures for evidence.
After his arrest, the department issued a statement similar to the one they released in 2019 after his first arrest.
In the first instance, Nash responded to a 911 call in October 2019 from a woman who told dispatchers that her boyfriend beat and choked her during an argument and subsequently stole her car. After initially responding to the woman’s home with other officers, Nash showed back up at the victim’s home eight days later.
While he claimed to be investigating her injuries, Nash physically penetrated the woman’s vagina with his fingers. For these alleged actions, he was charged with second-degree rape and two counts of official misconduct. He has been awaiting trail for nearly two years.
The second instance will undoubtedly hinder the officer’s plea of not guilty.
The second instance which led to the arrest this week, reportedly unfolded four months before the first one. In a similar situation, Nash and his partner showed up to the home of a domestic violence victim. After taking statements that day, Nash came back the next day, this time he was alone.
According to court records, Nash called the woman and told her to put on a dress before he arrived so he could “photograph her injuries.” Nash arrived alone wearing his black Spokane Police Department uniform jumpsuit along with his duty belt that held his gun, the victim told investigators, according to the Review.
"Nash then asked the victim if he could take off his radio. Nash bent and looked at the victim’s leg, which she told police she thought was to look for injuries.
Then Nash pulled the victim’s dress up and reached into her underwear, the victim said. Nash asked the victim if that hurt and she said no, according to the victim.
The victim told investigators she was shocked and didn’t know what to do, saying, “He had a gun and everything … he had his uniform on,” according to court documents.
The victim told investigators she thought Nash might shoot her if she resisted. Nash pushed the victim onto the couch, took her clothes off, and raped her, the victim told police."
“I was afraid to fight … he had his uniform and gun on and everything,” the victim told investigators. “I got in a paralyzed state and didn’t want to fight him.”
After he raped her, Nash reportedly forced his victim into the bathroom where he physically attacked her, wiped himself off with a tissue that he took with him, and left.
None of this should have been allowed to happen as Nash had already violated his oath of office the year prior. What’s more, he had been reported years before that for allegedly beating his own wife — but after his brothers in blue looked into the situation, they found his wife’s claims baseless.

#1883Cop Finally Charged After Gunning Down Unarmed Mentally Ill Man & His Parents in Costco
Los Angeles, CA — As TFTP reported in June of 2019, panic erupted inside a Corona, California Costco as multiple people were injured and one man was killed during a shooting. Dozens of shoppers immediately dropped to the ground as fears of the next mass shooting filled their thoughts. However, it turns out the “mass shooter” was an LAPD cop and his unarmed victims were a mentally disabled non-verbal man and his parents. After months of slow playing and refusing to release the surveillance footage, the Riverside County District Attorney announced that they would not charge the cop.
Now however, over two years later, the California attorney general’s office announced Monday it had filed manslaughter and assault charges against former officer Salvador Sanchez, 32, for shooting and killing Kenneth French inside the Costco.
“Where there’s reason to believe a crime has been committed, we will seek justice,” California Atty. Gen. Rob Bonta said in a statement. “That’s exactly what these charges are about: pursuing justice after an independent and thorough review of the evidence and the law. Ultimately, any loss of life is a tragedy and being licensed to carry a gun doesn’t mean you’re not accountable for how you use it. No matter who you are, nobody is above the law.”
Bail for Sanchez was set at $155,000, according to Riverside County jail records.
The charges were shocking considering it was announced in 2019 that no charges would be filed, leading Sanchez’s attorney to refer to his client’s arrest as a “political stunt.”
According to the LA Times, under a state law that went into effect July 1, the attorney general’s office is required to investigate all fatal police shootings of unarmed civilians in California. While Bonta launched a team to do so last month, he said his decision to charge Sanchez stemmed instead from powers granted to him by California’s Constitution, which allow him to pursue a case when the law is “not being adequately enforced in any county.”
In March of this year, video of the aftermath of the shooting was released and it showed police giving special privilege to officer Sanchez after he killed a mentally ill man and shot his parents. They didn’t even immediately place him in handcuffs.
The incident unfolded on June 14, 2019 and Russell and Paola French spent weeks in the hospital after officer Sanchez opened fire on them and their son Kenneth, who had schizophrenia and was non-verbal.
No one disputes the fact that Kenneth, unprovoked, walked up to Sanchez as he fed his toddler a sample and slapped him from behind. Kenneth’s behavior here, most assuredly deserved a reaction, especially since Sanchez was holding his child. Any parent in their right mind would’ve gone into fight or flight mode and that is what Sanchez did, pulling his gun and identifying himself as a cop.
However, as Kenneth’s parents informed the cop that their son is mentally disabled and did not realize what he was doing. The cop continued to escalate anyway.
Surveillance footage released months after the shooting shows Kenneth being pulled away from Sanchez before Sanchez opened fire on him — meaning there was no longer a threat. Despite the lack of threat, Sanchez would fire a total of ten rounds in the store, even after Kenneth fell to the ground. Sanchez claimed that even though Kenneth was on the ground, he still had a “concentrated, intense look in his eyes, still looking at me and my son.”
According to police documents, however, Kenneth and his parents were over 20 feet away when Sanchez opened fire. To consider this a threat is inconceivable.
“Those people, probably like, got in the way, I don’t know,” Sanchez said in the body camera footage, referring to French’s parents, who were each struck with one of Sanchez’s bullets, alo0ng with multiple items inside the Costco.
When pressed for more detail about who he’d aimed at, Sanchez told officer Slane he didn’t want to answer more questions.
“Ok, he was hunkered down over here–Did you see a weapon?” Slane asked.
“You know, I’m not gonna talk any further without my lawyers,” Sanchez said.
According to the cop’s attorney, David Winslow, during this four seconds, Sanchez lost consciousness and when he stood up — despite Kenneth no longer attacking and despite Kenneth’s parents pleading with the cop — Sanchez had no other choice but to kill Kenneth and shoot his parents, in their backs.
Winslow said his client “had no choice but to use deadly force.”
However, the child was not injured at all and Sanchez was fine which is why the family’s attorney, Dale Galipo said the use of force was entirely unnecessary.
Galipo called Sanchez’s response “a complete over-reaction,” adding that it was disturbing that, “if anyone other than an off-duty police officer had shot three unarmed civilians in a Costco, that person would be in jail and facing criminal charges for murder.”
NBC 4 Los Angeles reports:
"According to Corona Police interviews, multiple witnesses said Sanchez was struck in the head by French’s hand, as the two stood near a food sample table. Corona and LAPD detectives determined French never had a gun and no shooting took place before Sanchez opened fire.
Several witnesses said the strike, described as a punch or a slap, was unprovoked. One eyewitness told Corona Police that Sanchez collapsed to the floor so quickly she thought he had suffered a medical emergency; another said Sanchez 'got down' to the floor, took a 'defensive position,' and began shooting, according to detectives’ reports."
“After hearing Officer [Salvador] Sanchez identify himself as a police officer, I begged and told him not to shoot,” Russell French said after getting out of the hospital months later. “I said, ‘We have no guns, and my son is sick.’ He still shot. I thought people don’t do that.”
Both parents were shot in their backs, indicating “they were not facing Officer Sanchez’ direction at the time they were shot,” a statement from the firm representing the family said.
Kenneth also had his back to the officer when he was struck multiple times, Galipo said.
“Not only did we lose our first-born son, my husband and I sustained injuries that will impact our lives forever,” Paola French said in tears.
In what should’ve played out as an assault and battery by a mentally ill person, quickly turned into attempted mass murder and a murder by cop.
Though a grand jury failed to indict him, the LAPD found in June 2020 that Sanchez’s actions that night were unreasonable and had violated the department’s rules for use of lethal force. Sanchez was fired a month later.
Adding to the already incredibly suspect nature of this incident is the fact that in August, a Riverside Superior Court judge blocked the release of surveillance video that captured the entire ordeal. This is in direct contrast to the wishes of the victims.
For now, however, it appears that the family may see some form of justice.

#1884Cops Thought They Were Transporting Cocaine for the Cartel, But it Was Actually the FBI
ATLANTA (CN) — An 11th Circuit panel on Monday unanimously rejected two former Miami police officers’ challenge to their drug-trafficking convictions.
Former officers James Archibald and Kelvin Harris were caught as part of an undercover FBI sting operation designed to root out dirty cops in the Miami Police Department.
Despite proof that the officers actively participated in a fake drug-running conspiracy – even going so far as to activate their police lights to help an agent posing as a drug courier navigate heavy traffic – Archibald and Harris claimed that the evidence was insufficient to convict them.
The Atlanta-based appeals court was unpersuaded.
Writing on behalf of the panel Monday, Senior U.S. Circuit Judge Stanley Marcus found that the evidence against the men was “ample.”
Along with a third officer, Archibald and Harris participated in three separate operations to protect FBI agents who they believed were drug dealers delivering cocaine to Miami hotels. Harris received a $10,000 cash payment for his efforts and Archibald received $6,500.Both men were charged with conspiring to possess with intent to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine and attempted possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Harris was also convicted of possessing a firearm during the commission of a drug-trafficking crime.
After a 10-day trial in June 2019, Harris was sentenced to 27 ½ years in prison. Archibald was sentenced to 10 years.
Marcus, a Bill Clinton appointee, wrote that the men made many statements to an undercover agent and their fellow officers that they were “in” or “all in.”
“[Harris] and Archibald also repeatedly discussed only involving people they could trust in the scheme and devised strategies for keeping their activities secret. [Harris] went so far as to caution the crew not to change their lifestyles to avoid detection, and even promised that the organization’s activities would ‘live and die with [him],’” the judge wrote.
Archibald and Harris repeatedly affirmed their commitment to the scheme, the ruling explains.
After he was told that the organization had moved 100 kilos of cocaine in one month, the ruling states that Harris “seemed calm, and, notably, was not surprised at the amount of cocaine that had been trafficked.”
The panel also rejected Archibald’s arguments that he only agreed to participate in the scheme because he was scared and uncomfortable.
Archibald “appeared relaxed” and “showed no surprise” as one of the fake couriers counted 15 bricks of false cocaine in a hotel room, according to the ruling. He also did not make any attempt to contact any law enforcement agency about the illegal activity.
“Between September 28 and October 11, Archibald took no steps to walk away from what he admittedly understood was extensive criminal activity,” Marcus wrote.
Finding no evidence of perjury or prosecutorial misconduct during grand jury proceedings in the case, the panel rejected an argument made by Harris’ attorney during a hearing in May that the indictment against him should have been dismissed because another officer gave purportedly false testimony to the grand jury.
The defendants’ argument that the prosecutor unconstitutionally struck a Black prospective juror because of race was also rejected. The government excluded only one Black juror out of the seven peremptory challenges it made. Two Black jurors went on to serve on the jury.
Attorney Ashley Litwin of Seitles & Litwin, who represents Archibald, expressed disappointment in the ruling Monday but said her client “will continue to fight.”
“We strongly believe the facts and the law establish James Archibald was entrapped and committed the crime only under duress. We had hoped that his convictions would be overturned and he would be sent home,” Litwin said.
An attorney for Harris did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Marcus was joined on the panel by U.S. Circuit Judges Jill Pryor, a Barack Obama appointee, and Kevin Newsom, a Donald Trump appointee.

#1889Man Gets 60 Years in Prison for Punching an Officer as Cop Gets Probation for Child Sex Abuse
Disgraced Kansas City, Missouri police officer, Vincent A. Spilker is a vile disgusting human whose actions victimized countless children. He admitted guilt to trafficking in horrifying child pornography, clearly illustrating that he is a danger to society. However, as we reported last month, Spilker won’t be going to jail. Instead, he is a free man, on probation.
“Mr. Spilker accepts full responsibility for this offense,” his attorney, John O’Conner, said in court documents. “He has tremendous remorse and regret for his behavior. He desires and will participate in any treatment program offered to him.”
Despite the state of Missouri asking the judge for 10 years in jail, the court sentenced him to probation instead.
“Spilker said he did, in fact, repost pictures of nude and partially nude females on the account,” court documents stated. “Spilker was not sure of the amount of pictures he reposted but said the girls appeared to be under the age of eighteen. Spilker said he believes some of the girls who were nude were probably between the ages of 10 to 12 years old. Spilker said he knew reposting the pictures was wrong and he did not want to be the kind of person who shared pictures of nude young girls.”
Yet he was the kind of person who did it, and he was posting the pictures.
What’s more, when authorities executed a search warrant for Spilker’s devices they found utterly horrifying images and videos. One of the videos showed an adult male holding down and raping an 8-year-old girl, who was crying, according to prosecution documents.
Other files, according to court documents, contained images of the sexual abuse of children as young as 3-years-old.This man’s crimes are utterly horrifying and his victims are countless, yet he will not be going to jail. His blue privilege runs deep and highlights the disparity between the two justice systems in the land of the free — one for those who serve the system, and one for everyone else. Take for example, the case of Joseph Wayne Fegurgur, 36, who was sentenced this week by Judge John Gauntt to 60 years in prison.
Unlike Spilker, Fegurgur did not abuse children and did not get his rocks off by watching 8-year-old girls cry while being sexual abused. Fegurgur punched a cop, and for this act, he will spend the rest of his life in a cage.
According to reports, Fergurgur was seen by hotel staff allegedly doing drugs in his hotel room in 2017. When police showed up to the call, a struggle ensued and Fergurgur punched an officer in the face. He was found guilty of the assault in June.
The judge upgraded his charges to a first-degree felony because Fegurgur had two prior convictions. According to the Texas Penal Code, this upgraded charge is punishable by two to 10 years in jail. Fegurgur got 60 years.
While Fegurgur deserves to be held accountable for his crimes, his sentence is extremely excessive and illustrates a rather insidious problem with America’s justice system. If you attack or harm someone connected to the system you can and will face the possibility of spending the rest of your life in a cage.
However, if are a part of the system and you participate in the horrifying abuse of society’s most vulnerable — even the atrocious sexual abuse of toddlers — you won’t even spend a single day in jail.
This is called “justice” in the land of the free.
