I think you're entire perspective of life and the world is viewed through religious lens, so in your mind, it's not absurd for a person to be able to have visions, or a sixth sense, because that was common in the bible. But the thing about the bible and the characters in it and all their extravagant stories is that they didn't have the technology we do now.
