I agree, to an extent...once someone has proven they've closed their minds to evidence, or declares their belief in something regardless of any past or future evidence, further discussions aren't likely to change anything. Personally, I'd rather know what my friends believe regardless of what it is, so I can better determine who they are and whether they're someone I want to spend more time around.
