1984 was a good read, sad that in our ignorance to be protected from ourselves, we've invited several aspects of the cautionary tale...but we have irrationality to thank for that.
I'm willing to believe hendrix, santana etc don't think they're lying...but once again, their belief is not proof of anything except their subjective feelings (as in, "not facts").
If you can't prove something or even give a reason why it's more plausible than any number of similar works of fiction, that something isn't worth wasting your life on. More importantly, when that belief leads you to a bunch of other irrational conclusions and you vote accordingly, you make life worse for all of us.
I've put a good deal of effort showing you exactly how science explains prophecies, visions, dreams, etc...you simply refuse to read it, and have admitted as much. Believe as you will, but let's not pretend you're being even slightly rational in your beliefs when you have to resort to sticking your fingers in your ear and shouting "LALALALALA" in order to maintain them.
Job's faith was tested by God to win a wager with Satan; apparently this loving, caring God cared more about winning his bet (with no wager, and no mention if he even got good odds!) than doing right by his follower. I don't believe in following anyone who would rather slaughter my family than turn down a bet

, stop being such a jerk, and only commenting on what you think you know, what do you think about Bob Dylan and the rest, you can't explain none of what I've been saying ... All you can do is laugh, and to me that's when I smell weakness... So either move on, go help the world " because your so dang smart ", or answer some real questions ... Have you ever read, behold a pale white horse ? Explain some of that in detail then start laughing smart guy... Until then GET OVER YOURSELF

To be fair, I tend to get a little less rational after a couple beers
