Here's a bit of the thinking, similar to stocks.

I was thinking Mets the whole game and after it started we were looking at a different situation, but a bigger Met dog.

Sometimes we wait for that stock to move a certain distance for "confirmation" of a move.

With the Met move, I took the better than 2-1 shot quite late in the game, after the move I was looking for, that extra Met bet on the run line was unnecessary but I would probably do it again...lol

In the end I righted the ship from the Met excess but Atlanta was a bit of scare to do so.

One thing is for sure, waiting until the end is far riskier than betting off of the jump early. If I had taken the Mets when they were down 4, I could have sold back for a free shot.

Then I would have still taken Mets late, but fort less overall risk.

A very similar thing happened with the Chicago in the WNBA on Sunday.

I got Chicago +280 and Phoenix +195 for a guaranteed winner. Even with that position, I still picked up Chicago -215 towards the end...I discuss the situation briefly in the WNBA thread.

Live is high risk, high vig, and sometimes a lot of trades to go in and out of the tunnel, but I think if you start with locating the money, and have a sense for how it's being brought, you can squeeze out a few bucks, even with the losses. The less trades to make your point the better.

I could go on and on, but you all know that.

I've managed on Sunday and Monday, let's see if I can sniff out some live opportunity moving forward.

I've run in to limit problems in the past with this type of trading.
