#70389you say there are many ways to skin a cat, but then you post about it what it takes to win. you talk like you know what other people are doing to win. do you really know how everyone else does things? maybe your models aren't sharp enough. maybe how you operate is you need to combine market data with your inefficient models to correlate winners. is your ability to predict up to par? maybe other people have unique approaches in ways you never even though of.
you think you have it figured out. it's a puzzle. put the pieces together. is it a puzzle? you created the puzzle. your puzzle. there are many puzzles. be the puzzle.

#70390The Detroit winner isn't a bad shot either.
Decent trends that could indicate...
When they play a pitcher that strikes out 5 or more batters per start this season, Detroit is 19-11.
Cleveland is 21-29 against those same poor base running teams mentioned earlier.
Those are decent, but there's more...
That stacking forecast has Detroit winning basically 4-3 and the public is heavy on the moneyline and the run line.
I took Detroit +233 over Cleveland and the contest too...

We saw well known players sellout and write books. We saw those books effect the line.
There is always a need to stay ahead but it is important to never forget that it is dynamic and constantly moving forward, until it moves backwards.
In the end, finding stretched markets and the signals that imply they will regress is the name of the game. Sound familiar?...stock trading.
And that's just it. It is a puzzle. Have I figured everything out? No. But what I do know is a key to the puzzle that allows us to approach the markets year in and year out.
Creating winning formula is the easy part. Spot picking winners is the easy part.
The hard part is avoiding all the other factors that force a gambler to lose. Some of the "funds" I wanted to start involve those factors.
The market knows them and originators and books exploit them...no matter the sport.
But even with the key, and excellent vig beating capping, a gambler is nothing without patience and discipline.
SBR posting and posting plays, and contests, even betpoints, all serve to be an outlet for a lack of patience and I apologize for not posting better strategy plays, getting the funds explained, or giving everything.
You can see, even from the above posts, that I am trying to become more transparent.
Also, models are always in need of improvement and you are right, while I post the long term forecast, I often tweak it with market data and post altered plays, giving back to the forecast.
The trading plan starts with the forecasts, then builds from there. As far as who is doing what and how much is there, I have resources you could only imagine, including phone calls and subscriptions but I won't post them. It is also my turn to pay for valuable information that I will share if I get the fund strategies going. To this end, it's not the information, it's how you use it.
Because there's always someone with more information.
For me, automation is the problem and I need to correct that. You can help.

#70393No appetite with pain and my wife is adamant about making sure there is some GrandDaddy Purple in the house.
Thank God, I needs the Oxy's, have them, but manage to not take them. Took them once every day this year (sometimes twice) with 2 consecutive days without them every single week...no exception.
When June rolled around, I dropped to taking them only two days a week to basically nothing. But I need them.
Trying to manage that shit takes energy.
Will save them for vacations and will likely take more right before the next procedure.Comment -

#70407UNDER a good bet Doves.
The better than 2-1 dog shot that I added, not this time.
It's not as unhealthy as my diet or lack thereof, it's just, at times, very volatile. It is the nature of sports in general.
For now in these markets, we still ok Doves, we still ok.

#70418Ok, about to take a much needed break, but here's my position in Golf after Live trades, that were posted, were made at mulitple places.
I have 8.125 units at risk. If Paul Casey fails to place in the top 5 I lose it all.
If Paul Casey wins, I win 4.4035 units.
If Paul Casey loses, but stays in the top 5, I break dead even.
These are my only golf bets this week and were made when Casey had a two stroke lead during round 3.
Here's the current top 10...
1 Paul Casey 65 67 62 -8 -16 2 Russell Henley 66 65 67 -3 -12 T3 Brian Harman 64 66 69 -1 -11 T3 J.B. Holmes 66 68 65 -5 -11 T3 Anirban Lahiri 67 67 65 -5 -11 T6 Ryan Blaum 69 65 66 -4 -10 T6 Jason Day 66 68 66 -4 -10 T6 Bubba Watson 70 63 67 -3 -10 T6 Beau Hossler 65 67 68 -2 -10 T6 Bryson DeChambeau 66 66 68 -2 -10
