Only issue with square is that I've heard some complaints about the plug in reader being unreliable on the phones.

And industry players claimed security issues but those guys were competitors so of course they would talk shit.

Square has grown and have better point of sale devices now. Paypal also just fine.

It's like the telecom business.

Go to your local bank, they may have a merchant service program and they most likely can deposit the money in your account the fastest. Tell your bank about the great rates you are getting with whomever, and the bank may try to beat it.

Whatever you do, don't pay any type of statement fees or "merchant club" or "club services" fees.

They are bullshit and can be negotiated away.

I actually know this business a little bit as I worked for one company briefly, helping to negotiate the best rates for their customers' business.

Not dogging square. Banks have many types of merchant services, but I was really just talking card transactions.

These days, what banks charged a lot for just come cheaper and often come with so much more.

I don't know all the details, but if you think square works for you, go for it. I know they have more than just the plug in phone reader, but I don't know not much more.

Square could be really good for you, it has been for a lot of people. My chiropractor uses square, after I got out of the business.
