It's tough to realize that year to year but each season is it's own story of swinging one way, then another. Some years it's the first half that's one way, then the next half. Sometimes it's reversed.

Tariff worries are just for entertainment purposes. We all know the market was going to do what it's doing and that Harley was making a move anyway, they are a company who's stock has been in trouble and I'm glad I have none.

In the end the US will win the trade nonsense and come out stronger, despite any short term discomfort.

Besides, with the market so subject to "worries" when we really know of the manipulation going on, I think I want to free up the money to be prepared to buy what I like on big dips that tend to get exaggerated when the media runs with it.

In that environment, I think there should be option opportunities, if not, I could just set a close exit point, pretend to be bullish and sell a call, and hopefully get called away. I want to make sure I'm at least above even on the whole venture, even if it is small.

I posted that I was bearish with the banks for the short term and held C, believe it or not, as a hedge in case I was wrong. I wasn't wrong. I think it's time.

One thing is for sure, I really don't have trade fears, or trade war fears, or fears of rumors of trade wars, because I know that this is just as much about intellectual property as it is about the shitty trade deals we've been subject to over the years. While things are going strong, it's a good time for the short term pain necessary for the eventually positives we will get out of fixing some of those deals.

We've been giving away the shop and look how well we've done, just wait until the effects of a little protectionism play out.



And if the building of corporate America on credit starts to sting, we'll see the signs and profit all the way down.

No, even though it's down to 15, it's probably not going to happen. This game will be long over by the final game's tips off.

Honestly, it's tough to tell whether the WNBA is hiding an upset right now or just adjusting to recent behavior, like the Chicago upset the other night.

Just the same, I picked up LA Sparks -10.5 (-105) over Dallas Wings.

With the win in Chicago I am willing to give one back here.

This a bit risky, I am countering multiple reasons to take the dog here, and many of those reasons, in the right situations, produce winning plays.

But when we put them together, history shows to go the other way.

I think the line should drop but I also think, regardless of pressure, that it won't move, it is honed and only smaller shops subject to a 10 or 11 move.
