yes Sir. will look to take a few shots here and there with good companies that are in a weak spot. recently bought BIDU at 170, BA at 375 and BIIB at 227 after the huge drops. good companies that i believe will bounce back. if they go down another 10-15% ??? i'll probably add to my positions.

Another day another drop in rates. The 10 year is now where it was 15 months ago, 3 rate hikes ago(or was it 4?).

So far my buddy Josh is tracking good on opinion but stocks are taking the slow down news in stride. I sold the last of my bonds with over a 10 year maturity. Still feel good about rates turning higher by summer.

Picked up a dog AT&T today. Bit of a defensive/value play with a reasonably safe 6.5% dividend.

And when I bought NRZ I also bought STWD at equal share counts to balance out the principle. 8.5% divvy.

since purchase last Sept, NRZ is down 3.52% for me, and STWD is up 3.58%. basically a wash on the principle and collecting the aggregate 10.25% divvy

*fingers crossed* moving forward !!!

Yeaaa STWD is in a class well above NRZ or should say has a much more stable fundamental business. I'm about 3-1 on STWD.

BABA back over $180 but BIDU just can't get it going.

BIDU is estimating $79 a share for 2020. Even if they miss a little and get to say $70 that will translate to a $300 share price.

Not sure LYFT is going to be able to produce the revenue and growth investors want, can't help but think there are better investments.

Then again, some of the biggest players in the market today didn't have profit in the early days.

So much for the market tanking due to interest rates inverting... for now anyway.

China is slowing butttt they will try to get by with 7% GDP growth anyway. BABA is back to within striking distance of a new high.

Recall I put a few people to sleep with the oil price correlation with stocks? Oil is at a multi month high near $61 and low and behold so are stocks.

One other thing to watch is the 10 year. During the winter sell off the 10 year got up to a yield of 3.1%, it's under 2.45% now. There is no where to go for stocks but up at 2.45%. Throw a dart. But at 2.8% money starts nibbling at bonds and over 3% and we got a bear market...or we did for about a day.

You're better off than me. I'm in at $193 but have probably recouped $10 on selling covered calls. Nearly up $6 today, best day I've seen in a lonnnng time. Baba in nap time.

i like the company. i like the market share they are taking from UBER. i like that they are growing twice as fast as UBER.

I realize this starting to be the wrong time of year for Natty Gas, but LNG and the partnership, CQP...5.6% dividend, are likely benefit when the inevitable US-China trade deal happens.

Cheniere (LNG) has been working on a deal in China that would literally be more than they can provide, they have been opening new facilities and getting approval for more.

Everything is on hold until trade is ironed out as China added 10% to LNG imports as a trade war move.

Fusco, the CEO, is the guy I bet on here, said that last year. He was one of about 2 dozen business execs that went with Trump to China at the end of 2017.

He even signed a deal on that trip...

Cheniere also recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China National Petroleum “on Long-term LNGSale and Purchase Cooperation.” Cheniere CEO Jack Fusco was part of the CEO delegation which accompanied President Trump and U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross on their recent trade mission to China. It was during this trip that the MOUwas signed with China National Petroleum, a deal overseen by President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Been buying LNG on dips for a long time but also write calls constantly. It's worked well as there's been a beta of 1.29 so the the pullbacks have been strong enough.

I'm up and not afraid to get called away as I'll just buy it back on the dip.

This capital raise should help the growth too but remember that once growth slows this stock will get hit...which could be a while.

A lot of hype and you are probably right to get in now, it's really taken a hit since it started trading...or...it has just plain been overvalued.

I know I didn't say much in this post, except to say I like your entry price.

Watch it closely and maybe define just what exit point you like and just what you would have to see from the company or it's competition to change that point.

you are another of my guys here and i love reading your thoughts. so since this was a nibble after friday's IPO, i only took a small position. i did not put a stop loss order in i typically do not because when a stock drops say 15% or more, i typically buy more. i'm concerned that if i use the stop loss and then i immediately buy shares again because i like the lower price, it's going to be considered a wash sale.

sorry for the rookie scenario but please let me know your thoughts on this strategy. when i take a position, i usually put only 25% of the amount of my portfolio that i have allocated for the stock. so i only bought 25% of the shares of LYFT that i am willing to commit to. i am willing to buy 3 more times at 25% each if it drops another 15%+
