Both Chacin and Lohse have been hot, but the Rockies desperately need this series win. I think the Rockies at home have more to play for today and get it done. In addition, just like yesterday, we have huge RLM on the Rockies today and the price was starting to go up so I had to lock it in rather than wait. It worked out yesterday, so why not today. Both of these are line movement plays and I'm getting them after all the value has been sucked out. Therefore, I'm going to play them both small. However, I can see why the sharps like the mets and under here because Niese and Worley have pitched really well in their last three games. Good luck.

I like Happ in this spot at home. The Astros need a win desperately and even though Collmeister has pitched well and Arizona has been hot, I'm going to take a shot here. I play the Astros way too much, but they rewarded me earlier in the year and have hurt me lately because of their bullpen. I think we finally see them win today.

On it's face, I agree with you. However, the line movement says otherwise. That total jumped from 8.5 to 9 and the over is being juiced pretty heavy at 9. About 60% of all bets were on the under earlier this morning and the action has leveled out now, but that it is a pretty big jump. The books are inviting action on the under now, so that's a no play for me. If it keeps going up, I may have to take the over.Comment -

I may add units to that Baltimore over. I may also add to the Marlins under. In addition, I think we will have some more bigger multiple unit plays. I think we have some stronger looking plays worth stepping out a bit. We need to break out of this MLB funk of treading water. I played it conservative with that Mets play and got burned. Big movement against the Orioles now...all the way down from -123 to -110 at that same local book. Pinny just put Balty back up at + odds. That's not a good sign, but I like the over more here anyway and will add to that at some point. Just waiting for a better price. You gotta love this Sunday line movement. Those are our plays going into the Reds/Braves and Boston/Detroit games for tonight. I thought the Boston game was the ESPN Sunday night game this week, but I guess it's really the Reds/Braves game.
