I have to roll with Lincecum getting plus odds in this situation. I understand he threw a bunch of pitches in his last outing and Posey and Sandoval are out, however, I think Giants rally around the Freak and get it done.

Myers has been a tough look pitcher and such a big home dog pays well against a hot Diamondbacks team heavily backed by the public.

Jiminez needs to win one and I think this is the spot. This is a big line movement play as well.

The Rockies loss really hurt our profits on the night and the freeking Astros burn us yet again and give up a 6-0 lead to lose 7-6. Plus, Detroit scored a meaningless run in the bottom of the 9th to give us a push on the under in that game. We could have had a really huge night with just a bit better luck, but we're not going to complain as we did get a grandslam in the Giants game to win and still ended up with a solid record and profits on the night.

As I always say, MLB is a grind and we just need to keep grinding out an average of 1-4x every week. Onto today and I like the Mariners again. Good luck!

Yes. You can bet on barca win, draw or man utd win. And results only stand at full time. It's different from basketball where results will only be counted after ot(if any).

IE: draw at fulltime and your bet is barca win. Result: you lose.

There is actually push in soccer too but you have to bet on the asian handicap, ie like basketball handicap.

IE: you take a team at 0/level handicap. If result is a draw at fulltime, then it's a push.

I believe I already mentioned this, but if I don't specifically list a price on a total or ml, it is assumed the price I get is -110.

I don't have time to list all of my thoughts for each of these games, but here are a few quick hits:

I really like the under in SD/Wash as the public is pounding the over, but Stauffer and Zimmerman have both pitched tough all year, but especially of late. Except for a few really bad starts by each, neither pitcher has given up more than 3 runs in any of their collective starts. Both teams offenses have struggled of late and I hope their collective defense is solid today. The Padres have hit 4 unders in a row and 8 of their last 10. Washington is 5-5 o/u in last ten, but they could have had more unders if they didn't face the hot-hitting Brewers and Orioles in their last two series. I like the under here and it looks as though the line is starting to move that way as well with some nice early RLM.

I think we are getting as good a price on King Felix at home as we will see all season. Therefore, I have to roll with the value there against Nova.

The White Sox came into this series heating up and Jackson has been a major part as he has been really good his last few starts. Toronto is going with Villanueva, who is a reliever by trade, and if we can get him out of the game around the 5th inning and get to Toronto's pen early, the White Sox should win. However, the Sox need to get Dunn going. Man does he suck balls so far.

I'm rolling with the Pirates and tough-luck pitcher Maholm against the Cubs and Wells. Wells is making his first start back from the DL after only 2 minor league starts. I think this helps the Pirates offense heat up a bit. I like the Pirates again today because I don't think Wells is ready and it never hurts to take a shot at fading the Cubs.

As you know, I generally fade Randy Bush and have done well although not in my last try. I like Sanchez getting such a good price because he's been pitching well. I have to look at the total on this one as well as it could be a play too. The public will be pounding the Brewers and I think we have another public fade opportunity here.

Aussie and Vassili - thanks for the soccer eduction. I find the fact that you lose on a draw unless you play the draw to be a big downside to betting soccer. I know very little about soccer, although my wife played all the way through her first couple years of college, but I do know that there are a lot of draws.

Is there more money to be made on totals in soccer than the side?

Good luck. You missed out on the Seattle profit yesterday. I did like them a lot more yesterday than today, hence double the stake yesterday. However, I think Hernandez holds the Yanks to 3 or under and Seattle roughs up Nova for at least 4. Seattle is an up-and-comer. I would not be surprised to see them beat out the Rangers, Angels and A's to win the West. Pitching + young hitting + improved defense = winning formula.

I'm stepping out here and making this a bigger play. My only concern is that the umpire is Rapuano, who seems to have a lot of overs this year. However, there are a ton of factors pointing to the under here and now the RLM is really starting to pick up as many books are starting to juice the under heavy despite 80%+ of all bets coming in on the over. If you like this play too, get on it now before all the books follow suit and juice the under. Good luck.

NBA 5/31/11

Mavs/Heat over (186) (-120) 10x (locked)

Wow, total opened at 188 just as I predicted above and immediately started falling all the way to 186.5. Early money definitely on the under here, but that does not concern me where we have a strong trend backing this play and the days off will help push the pace.

I must admit that I don't even have the series capped yet, but I know buying the hook and getting 186 on the over will be the best value we will see as many books are already going back up to 187.

I am going to be aggressive here and play this for 10x because I like the 186 number and trust both teams will come out firing for this first game just like they did in opening games if their previous series. Defense and unders will come later in the series, but I like offense to get the party started. Writeup on series and first game to come this weekend. Good luck.

Just finished capping this game and series. I have the first game capped at 190, so I love that I bought that hook to get 186 because we have a ton of value on the over now and I don't see the total going below 186.5. In addition to Jackson pitching well, so has Villanueva. However, Villanueva is a reliever and I don't think he'll have the stamina to last deep into the game. I like the Sox to win this, assuming they can knock Villanueva out early. However, I still like the game to stay under 8 with the Sox winning 5-2 or 4-3. This play is also based on line movement as the books opened at 8.5 yesterday, but have dropped down to 8 and are now beginning to juice the under pretty heavy at 8 despite over 75% of all bets coming in on the over. This is pretty solid RLM, so I'm going to follow the money in this spot.

Technically, it's still a 'home game' for Man U as the finals is held at a neutral ground which happens to be in England, Wembley Stadium. Man U players do have the advantage of playing there more because domestic cup finals and the England national team also plays there. Man Utd got a couple England international players so their players should feel more 'homely' than Barca.

Barca is the the top club in the world right now. They have 8 players from the Spain World Cup winning team last year and 1 of the world best player in Leo Messi.

I will also be backing Barca.
