Not only Kennedy, but also Sanchez is pitching. Both of these guys have been hot all year. However, Kennedy especially will have a tendency to give up some runs. Sanchez has been hot, but so have the D-backs bats. Both teams come in with a bit of an under streak with the Marlins having hit two in a row and the D-backs hitting two of there last three. Finally, the line opened up at 8 and then went to 8.5 with the over being juiced pretty heavy right now. However, the public is pounding the under at 70% clip. That gives us significant RLM on the over and tells me we have an edge with our over play here with a nice public fade as well. Good luck if you decide to roll with it.

Looks like some early rust needs to shaken off. Both teams shooting around 20% early on. They will both heat up. I'm actually not worried about a low scoring first quarter, because, as NC always says, a low scoring first quarter leads to a game over.

They are playing much slower than I would like though...

Theres been 11 free throws already and the game is barely 10mins old.. What are you talking about. Its the pace of the game thats the problem. Both teams letting clock roll down before shooting.

Accurate assessment. They are playing more half-court offense in the first quarter than I would have thought. However, it's still early. We need some more transition baskets. It's like both offenses are playing tentative as if they are anticipating defensive coverage that is not there.

Both teams rusty and shooting 30%. That will not continue. I would expect a big quarter in this 2q. If each team can get in the 40's by halftime, we will be fine. I was fearful of a slow start based on the long layoff, however, I didn't think it would be this slow LOL. Let's see what the 2q brings...

Unreal...the Pirates choose the 9th freeking inning to break out of their slump. They were up 3-1 at the top of the 9th and we were looking great to cash both our Pirates ML play and the play on the under. Now, it's going to be close. One run cushion with the Pirates winning 5-1...

It's just rust, not defense. They are just missing wide open shots. I'm not bailing out. It's too early. I've been on the other end of these type of low scoring 1h, big scoring 2h to lose on the under too many times. However, it's certainly ugly as hell right now and I don't blame anyone for bailing.

Just checked the shot clock tracker. Miami is averaging shooting the ball with 3.3 secs left. Dallas shooting it a bit quicker with 5.1s on it.

This is going to equate to teams needing to shoot 67.6% for the rest of the game

We're having a great day in MLB so no need to push unit size against the Yanks. I like this play though. Probably 2x play on Seattle under. Waiting to see if line goes back up to 7.
