agree but if he can think he's very tough in here..how about the dam's sire being pleasant colony .. he'd be 47yo this year lol !! johnny campo trained (sure you know that) who I'm guessing you might've mentioned in here along the way

THX. yeah see your point on the MSW races and I guess MDN Claimers as well.

In today's world of shipping horses with such ease, Florida is the most likely choice Assuming all things are fine.
    thanks str

probably the most important reason of them all is what you mentioned with chad being down in florida along with it being a nice place to be ..also keep him with the same people who work with him regularly .. kind of feel (w/o knowing the field) it's not crazy that he could run a nice race in the wood memorial (if they go that path) and then you have a shot with him in the derby at mega odds

I have not followed it very much this winter. I read the headlines but have not really looked hard at any big 3 yr. old Derby prep races yet so I just am not up to speed enough to have an opinion.

I respect your opinion on these so kind of futures. For me, I'm not sure I would know the true value of a stallion play at this point. Think I would be kind of lost.

I think he ran well but was getting tired, and understandably so, the last 1/8th. Not sure he much left in the tank if he saw that closer or not. He will be more fit next out but at low odds, I would be skeptical of assuming he just wins next out. It was a good effort, but I saw nothing special about it with the position he had and the leader early just running off.

Not saying he will lose, but I would proceed with caution on this one in his next start.

not hard to put together.. logical to put the favorite on top of both of them

Should improve today. I have to think he runs 1,2,3 in there somewhere.

The 11 is an interesting firster on paper at what seems like a nice price.

That can be a really hard thing to try and break with some horses. But, some horses still have a serious will to win but just by a head. I think it is attention to detail things like that, that help separate trainers from horsemen.

And that most likely will not correct the issue overnight, but it definitely plants a seed in the horses brain as he matures.

GL Batt. We will be rooting for you !
Thanks STR! I was kinda thinking the same thing ... it may take a little longer than just one workout... Found a post after ward ( not sure if it is true) that Lukas thought he would have won if the Jockey went to the left handed whip earlier.
