on Friday, dumb azz Leafs blew the 3-1 lead after 2p, then up 4-3 they take a penalty late in regulation and allow Anaheim to force Overtime with under 1-minute remaining. Leafs ended up winning the game with 6-seconds left in Overtime.

Reason for the pick, Minnesota been playing good lately. Colorado is on a back-to-back game, they have not done that great in back-to-backs this season when facing good teams. Minnesota leads the head-to-head season matchup 2-1 heading into tonight.

Hopefully I'm right about this, they are on the road at Philly. Florida has lost 3 of their last 4, while Philly is just the opposite with 3 of 4 wins, including a shellacking of Washington 7-2 road victory in their last game on Saturday. This is the second of 3 season meetings between these teams. Florida won the first time on Nov.19 when at home by 5-2 score. They play each other again in Sunrise on Feb.13 so tonight is the only matchup played in Philly this season. Bobrovsky playing in his 500th NHL game tonight. Flyers goalie Carter Hart is back in action tonight for the first time since Jan.13 after being out with an abdominal injury.

Only 6 games on tonight's schedule.

Went 2-1-1 Saturday with the 2 unit Parlay losing both legs (counted as one loss - but what would they payout could have been if taking both dogs in those games!).

Since last Sunday, I've taken a complete break, and feels good, better than suffering losses. I might come back with more hockey, but also thinking about just skipping ahead to baseball.

Thinking back to the early part of the season, there was a ton of Overtime games across all teams. That got me off to a bad start, often my picked team won but I placed the bet for regulation time only.

That went on for awhile. Messed with my head. So then I took several days break between bets, waiting for a good spot...maybe my mind not cleared enough / needed longer breaks.

Here is the background for this game. Dallas on the road against Central division leading St.Louis

Anton Khudobin is starting for Dallas, going for career win #100. The last time he STARTED against St.Louis was on the road on Feb.8, a game Dallas won 3-2 in Overtime.

Jake Allen is starting for St.Louis. Allen won the last meeting against Dallas by 5-1 score on Feb.21 on the road. J.T. Miller easily came through with 2 Assists and 1 Goal in Sunday's game. Happy I did not bet the Canucks side for the game, they blew a 3-1 lead with around 10-minutes left in the game, allowing Columbus to win by 5-3 final... they didn't even force Overtime. Terrible collapse on that road trip for them.

Mr. Kosmo, these are all my real money wagers. Basically I like to use the "Units" amounts here, because you can just move the decimal point around, then one size fits all for tracking purposes. I do not flat bet, explained in Post #1 of the thread. Don't need to go into more detail than that.

I suppose you are wondering, "How much can this guy lose?" or something.... well, I like to track my complete results, which very few posters do around here (there are a few who do, not that it earns a merit badge or anything). I've tracked MLB, NFL, and NHL on here since 2017. You can find my other tracking threads on here without too much effort. My NFL results were very good for the most recent season that ended with the Chiefs winning the SuperBowl.

I tend to run very hot or cold. Still trying to level that and always improve.

Montreal has the biggest underdog odds for the Opening Round series matchups. Penguins looked like a very serious contender during the regular season, but the break changes things, at least took away momentum. If Carey Price is ready AND the Canadiens play more strict defensively in front of him, I think they got a much better chance than the Series betting odds translate to.


My NHL picks were awful this season, so I'm not planning on having a lot of action with this playoff structure.
