I'm liking RA Dickey vs Was tonight. Even though his last outing vs them he lost giving up 8 hits, 5 runs- 4 earned, 1 bb, & 7 ko's in 6 innings.

He has been hot in his last 4 games, only giving up 4 runs in them. While winning 3 of them.

Marco Estrada is my guy on the mound. His pricetag is very reasonable for a guy that has not been all that bad. He is 1-1 his last 3 with a 2.65 ERA and 1.24 WHIP. I really like the fact that he is a strikeout pitcher in which he is averaging 7.7 per game his last 3. He faces a Braves team that is one of the worst 10 teams for K's. Good Luck everyone!

Alright guys I like two pitchers tonight. The first one is Ryan Dempster. Dempster has been on fire his last 3 games with a 3-0 mark and a 2.00 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. Dempster has averaged 6 innings per game over the last 3 games with an average of 7.3 K's per game. The downside to Dempster is the offense for Texas is struggling right now hitting just .182 the last 5 games. Texas has just one guy hitting over .300 the last 7 games for them. Dempster comes with a high pricetag is he going to be worth it tonight?

The guy I am actually leaning towards is AJ Griffin from Oakland. Griffin is 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA and 0.79 WHIP his last 3 games. He is averaging just 5 innings pitched per game with just 4 K's per game over that span. Now Griffin has been even better on the road though this season. In four road starts he is 3-0 with a 1.54 ERA and WHIP of 1.07. He is averaging almost 6 innings per game and 6.3 K's per game on the road. Now his downside is he faces the Angels always dangerous offense. I do though like the cheaper pricetag on Griffin and I really like the confidence this A's team is playing with. They are laying it all on the line every night showing they want to be there come October.

Either way I think both guys have decent nights. If you can build a solid lineup with the high priced pitcher then take Dempster if you can't then I would go the Cheap route.

Alright guys their are alot of choices today but I am going to go with Mike Friers from Milwaukee. Friers price is reasonable and he has pitched decently as of late. Friers is 2-1 his last 3 games with a 3.45 ERA and a WHIP of 1.47. Friers at home this season is 4-4 with a 2.65 ERA and 1.18 WHIP. At home Friers is averaging 6.6 K's per game and almost 6 innings pitched per game. The thing I like most tonight about friers is he will face a Mets team that is slumping right now and Milwaukee still has an outside chance at a playoff spot. Mets are 1-8 their last nine games averaging just 2.2 runs per game over that span. The Milwaukee offense is hot right now scoring 4 or more runs in 8 of their last nine games in which they are 7-2. Milwaukee also gets to face Jon Niese whom they are hitting a career .348 against.

Koz-man,

I play on Fanduel, Dailyjoust and Draftday. I prefer fanduel for my daily fantasy baseball due to all the different types of contests they run and the scoring for baseball. For NBA the scoring is pretty much the same on those sites. NBA is my strongest out of all my daily sports. This will be my first season focusing on daily fantasy football. I use to play in alot of different fantasy leagues online and with friends but now I am looking to focus more on the daily games. It's hard sometimes to focus on the daily fantasy football only because my weekends will consist of handicapping games for College Football and NFL and still finding time to hang out with my 4 year old son and wife. The wife usually always has me doing work around the house after 10 am so I try and wake up early to get my sports stuff done and then do the stuff she needs me to do until I sit down to catch a little bit of football. Damn Why did I get married.

Today I like Kyle Kendrick from Philly. Kendrick has been on fire as of late going 2-1 with a 2.18 ERA and 0.92 WHIP his last 3 games. Kendrick is averaging almost 7 innings per game with 6 K's per game. He faces a Houston lineup that is in the top 5 for most strikeouts this season. Kendrick should be able to get the K's and he should go deep in the game while his offense continues to hit the ball and keep their playoff hopes alive. The Price is right so Ill play Kendrick.

Usually I don't get too mad if my fantasy team for the day doesn't perform all that well but last night I was actually pissed. I think alot of has to do with me being a Phillies fan and using Kendrick for the first time all season. The guy had a nice run of solid outings and the night I put him in he lays an egg to the worst team in baseball. I guess that is what I get for all the Phillies games I have watched with him pitching in and cursed him up and down when he was getting hit around. I guess Karma comes back and bites me in the ass for this one.

No daily baseball today, going to be playing some NFL games. Good Luck everyone!

I understand. I hate using Reds players in fantasy, Because I'm a fan. It seems everytime I use one of there pitchers they stink up the field.

The Reds just lost 2 in a row to Miami. The way I look at it, is they are down in Miami on vacation. Doing a little early celebrating. But they better wake up come playoff time.
