Guthrie was not all that bad. The unearned runs really hurt him from snagging the victory. I would have liked to have seen a few more K's but I knew that by using him last night he was not going to light up the board with K's. Its all good we move onto tonight to take a look and see who looks good.

I am going to take a gamble with a pitcher tonight. I am not big on the pitchers tonight. James Shields would have been my main play but his price is too high for me. I will take a shot on the 21 year old south paw from Texas Martin Perez. Perez has just 3 career starts under his belt in which he is 1-1 with a 2.60 ERA and 1.33 WHIP. Perez has faced this Seattle team twice this season in relief appearance and has allowed 0 runs on 0 hits in 5.33 innings pitched. One of my key factors tonight is Texas gets to face Iwakuma from Seattle who they have roughed up this season. I like Texas to give Perez some run support tonight for him to grab a win. Doesn't hurt either that Perez is priced extremely cheap so I will take a shot and stack my lineup with hitters.

picked up carp. vs. the cubs for a spot start today...im up 14-3 though so its pretty low risk, but who knows maybe he can have a few good starts for me down the stretch

I have a busy day today with closing my pool and having new countertops installed. Hopefully I will find some time to look over some fantasy stuff. Nothing from me tonight. Pool guy closed our pool, counter tops are insatlled and the wife had me winterize our deck and patio by bringing everything into shed for the cold winter we residents in northeastern PA should have this year. Gonna take my 4 year old son to a hibachi grill for the first time tonight. Can't wait to see his face when the flames shoot up in front of him.
